I can only imagine how it will be when the shoe retros 10 years from now....Espically at the rate that kanye is putting out good music.
Imagine if like marvin gaye or phil collins released a shoe with nike and today it was being retroed wouldnt that be crazy!
I think other than the Manny Ramirez news this might be the best thing I have read today....

I don't think there will be another line with the same mystique as Jordans

*speaking in a high pitch voice with disbelief*

REALLY? I mean REALLY? come on.

I dont really know. Since Jordan started it, and LeBron is in his path. The first time around its more special.
But im copping any brons that i can, they are fire.

Yo not to hijack but another q
You think one day, like 20+ yrs later. Well look at the Lebron 3 and 4 and be like how did people hoop in these?
The same way people look at forces and AJ1s

it will be popular it already is but theres nothing like the first and thats jordans line

People need to really stop comapring every line to the Jordan line. When the Jordan line first started BB kicks were plain and ordinary. J's came aroundand completely changed everything and had a big name attached to it. Jordan's were more than a shoe and it's not possible to achieve that today whichis why no line can ever be like that. People built up a brand loaylty to Jordan's from those early days when there weren't as many choices and it willstay that way. There are so many different choices out there that people pick and choose from different lines that there is no attachement to any particularline.

Those are my thoughts on it, I may be completely off base but whatever.

sadly, i agree. the generations were ok but i wasnt too keen on how they looked. i loved the 2s.

i loved the way the 3s looked, but as a shoe they were terrible. they didnt get tight. i think the soldier 3s are far better shoes than the lebron 3s and ihave 2 pairs of the lebron 3s left and two pairs of the soldier 3s.

i love the look of the 4s but i never found a time where they seemed right to wear. they were too heavy for my preference for basketball, but in a size 13 theylooked super goofy casually. i ended up just giving them away to one of my boys after only 3 wears.

i dont like the way the 5s at all.

i love the 6s as a casual shoe, but i didnt really want to pay 140 for shoes that will rarely see daylight. i had a few boys that blew out their pairs of the6s after only a couple wears at the park. again, i dont want to pay 140 for a shoe that has potential to last me a week of playing ball.

but to answer your question... the II, III, and the IVs yes, they will be wanted. i dont think the Vs and the VIs and how the VIIs look will ever be wanted as much and his sig line is going downhill...

I've been on here like 7 years and that's easily one of the top 3 dumbest things I've ever read.

I doubt any Nike player shoe will ever have as much success as the Jordan line did. These logos first off are not cool, they look like a play off the Jordansymbol. Only other shoe that gets love from way back are the Penny's, and I personally only like the Penny 1s and the foamposites of course.

The difference between the 2 lines for me personally is that the Bron line wasn't really meant to be worn casually like how the Jordans were. You couldwear almost any Jordan with Jeans off the court and it would be cool. With the Bron's only in my opinion the III's and the VI look good with somejeans. I bought all of the Lebron's specifically to play in because I'm a big guy and need that support; all the Jordan's I buy because of thememories and how they look off the court. With all that said, if/when they retro the Lebron III I will definitely be buying a pair again. But untilLebron's line conquers the balance of off court looks with on-court performance it won't be able rival the Air Jordan.

it could skyrocket if he wins at least a championship to be close to jordan status. me personally, i wish the lebron line would have a better lacing system. icannot get a good cinch down on the 4, 5 and 6. every time i lace up one hole and move on to the next hole, the laces loosen up on the previous hole. just apersonal gripe.

The Lebrons IMO are nice sneaker for balling in, but they aren't the best looking when it comes to wearing w/ jeans etc... It's almost as if Jordanswere made for casual wear!!!

ummm...not sure that's the case. its really the lack of imagination, me thinks...i can't remember ANYONE saying they were buying mikes because"they look good with jeans" that is the current trend (by which i mean in the last 5-7 years, in fact to go a step further i would say exactly whenwht on wht AF1s became widely available). fact is people bought shoes (jordans & the like) because they liked the shoes...and wore them witheverything...so it wasn't that they looked good with jeans so much as we were used to seeing those shoes worn casually. also, i don't think peopleunderstand how thoroughly jordan changed and influenced this footwear thing...so let's stop comparing. everyone is soooo busy critiquing what comes out& comparing to those past shoes that the good things go overlooked (not saying there isn't a place for criticism, just that some context would benice). let's appreciate what is now...

Wow! @ everyone getting at GTEK.

You don't think the Yeezys will be going for more than the average rare Air Jordan retro in 10 years?

You're going to argue against the creativity of its design?

You're going to argue that its quality isn't amazing?

Aight.

Then again, maybe I'm reading GTEK's response wrong.
