Lonzo shot needs work. Dude needs to just start from scratch with that ugly release.

Beasley and Derrick Williams.
People thought Derrick was gonna be a superstar.

Nike Hoop Summit is coming up here in early April, I see several incoming freshman and soon to be NBA names participating, I also see Isaiah Hartenstein is playing which got me wondering exactly why he chose to
He's already going to be a likely first round pick this summer, why risk playing in this game and lowering your stock
Has any prospect ever done this before? That is participate in the Hoop Summit the same summer he'll be drafted?

I just checked ticketsI might go![]()
I think Dirk played. I know Saer Sene performed one of the all time great fleeces at the hoop summit. Schroeder played.
As far as Hartenstein, I think he should play. With Williams dropping out, he could be the 3rd true big to go.
Any time I see someone talk about Fultz's team not winning, him not making his team better, etc, I always have to go back to this sentence from this Vice article-I dont see fultz a cut above Lonzo. Never did tbh. I thought he was maybe slightly a better nba prospect because his shot doesnt need reworked like lonzos release will in the league but after the knee and the season his squad had in taking Lonzo #1
Nba superstars sply dont struggle in college. Hell even a guy like Michale Beasley took his team on a toruney run. If you a gaurd dominating the ball yall gotta be winning...
Then add the knee injury... naw im callin Lavar today if im oicking one thru three like look were taking your boy contingent on you doin less than 10 press appearances a year lol
Fultz can do everything Lonzo does + more
^^^^
You sound uninformed.
Blaming Washington being trash on Fultz? Did you even watch any of their games?
Fultz isn't the better prospect over Lonzo because of his shot, he's literally better at everything than Lonzo.
Stronger, more athletic, much better PnR player, better rebounder, better defensive tools, more length, much better finisher, much better shot creator off the dribble, better at drawing fouls, more advanced skillset, younger + his father isn't a narcisstic sychophant who loves the sound of his own voice and uses his son's platform as his own.
You need to do some more research if you really believe what you said.
awwsome went into some of it hereGo into detail. Such as what?
This is what it comes down to, I just think I may be a bit higher on Ball's ability to get there than perhaps you're insinuating hereThe path to becoming a superstar just seems like it is much easier for Fultz than Ball. Can Ball become that kind of player, sure, who knows. I just think that there are more parts of Ball's game than Fultz's that need to improve significantly. I think that Fultz has both a higher floor and ceiling.

I think that his fit is going to be extremely important. He needs to be surrounded by good shooters and at least one great scorer for his abilities to be best used. Phoenix and LA would both be pretty good fits. Orlando not as much. He is a big time talent enhancer, but is not the go-to scorer type, which Orlando desperately needs. This is what it comes down to, I just think I may be a bit higher on Ball's ability to get there than perhaps you're insinuating here
Biyombo made himself a lot of money in the game.

The elite PG prospects that everyone has agreed on since 08 have been Rose, Wall and Irving. Fultz is that type of prospect. The only guards picked in the top 10 since then that have really been busts are Jonny Flynn and Trey Burke. Fultz is a FAR superior prospect to those guys.Definitely one of the most talented guards in a while, but once again you just dont know. Who was the last top guard pick to end up being a bust?
I absolutely can't disagree with this post. Just based on what we've seen thus far from both playersI think that his fit is going to be extremely important. He needs to be surrounded by good shooters and at least one great scorer for his abilities to be best used. Phoenix and LA would both be pretty good fits. Orlando not as much. I just have a hard time justifying picking him over someone like Fultz when I'm not sure he can even be a top 3 scorer on a contending team.
I really think that Ainge has stood pat to see if he can get Hayward this summer without having to give up any assets. Everyone that was available at the trade deadline is still going to be available this summer. He has a TON of options. I just think he's a bit hesitant to go all-in and lose 8 years of player control on someone that could be a potential superstar to add an all-star but then have to go up against multiple superteams.I think Bradley should be part of that core too. I'll give ainge credit for rebuilding while being a playoff team but I still think he should've pushed some of his chips in. Not sure what kinda ceiling his assets will have or if Boston will be able to hit in free agency
There's a handful of NTers who are ultra critical of Ainge's refusal to trade but honestly staying pat isn't setting that franchise back. Trading away the barn for a Paul George or Jimmy Butler is just not that enticing IMOI may be in the minority here. But I think Ainge did a great job not biting on trade deadline. There's nothing you can do to beat the Cavs unless you get an Anthony Davis type of player.
I don't think the 2017 and 2018 picks should be touched but every other asset should be up for grabs. They have the luxury to be patient and slowly build a championship contender.
If anything, staying pat is giving you a potential 10 year window instead of a 2 year window to get wrecked by Cleveland/Golden State. There's a handful of NTers who are ultra critical of Ainge's refusal to trade but honestly staying pat isn't setting that franchise back. No need to rush the process, get a rim protector and continue milking the fleece job Danny's been able to pull through the draft
Wow. So many missed opportunities here...
