The NBA Draft Thread

If anything, staying pat is giving you a potential 10 year window instead of a 2 year window to get wrecked by Cleveland/Golden State.

10 years of the BK picks under team control > Jimmy/PG by far.

Especially considering Boston cap situation, their coach and the fact that they still have holes to fill.

They will obviously need some luck in the draft, both with the ping pong balls and prospects panning out but Jimmy or PG is not getting them a title.

This hoop summit game should be good, a lot of Canadians including RJ Barrett potential future number 1 pick. :hat

Writer should have made this the very first line of the story:

It is always wise not to overreact too much to one game in the scouting business. Players have bad days and good days, and looking at their complete body of work is far more useful than just one matchup.

Folks can run with whatever happens in that game but I've seen enough of both to have Ball ahead of Fox. Still think Fox is an exceptional prospect himself

Ivan Rabb officially declared

He's about 12 months too late tho :lol

Don't overthink things.. fultz is the prize in this draft. Biggest thing fultz is that he can get a shot whenever he wants.. his pull up jumper is so good already. I have doubts on how successful lonzo can be in the half court in the league

Rab is now projected to go second round. lol

One person who might want to stick around would be Giles as he is now projected to be selected in the 20s...what a fall from grace. He's only been playing 11 minutes a game. You think a year of being healthy + extra playing time will help his case?

Assuming he's a first round selection this summer, that's guaranteed money. Let him get with pro doctors and pro medical staff, and pray

Have him return to college with less emphasis on his pro future, you're asking for trouble

John Collins (Wake Forest) declared but wont hire an agent.

Dude gotta make that jump. That kid is ready. :smokin

Any big man that is remotely ready should be entering this draft. Even the high ceiling project types.

Yea idk why he even leaving his options open, he's still as young as most of the freshman and his stock won't be higher.

Go get your millions young man, you earned it.

John Collins playing 2 years of college ball & not being 20 yet is big

That's true actually. Next year's big man lineup is pretty heavy.

Homie from UCLA should declare even though he's 2 years away from being 2 years away
I would declare without an agent to test the waters. Not sure how much love he's gonna get since he was limited on minutes

If I don't have a clear cut guarantee that I'm a lottery pick, I'm going back. I think he can get into the lottery next summer
