It's crazy to hear Lynch was basically living off his endorsement money and stacked all on his football checks. Dude ain't coming back. Save the body and live good the rest ya life....

Love the optimism, but still too early too tell.

We need CB and Safeties to be filled.

IMO we still need LB's, even though I think the core was koo.

And I wanna know if Aldon is coming back or not, because we'll need another rusher since Tuck is gone and we're not sure how Mario Edwards is lookin right now...

Curious to see if FA's will even want to come to the Raiders since we're not sure where the future home will be lol

Mario is who worries me most. It seems that things are going well, but the hush-hush around his neck seems like a big deal. JDR has been quiet about other injuries as well, so maybe that's all it is.
Oakland A’s: “Unfortunate” Mark Davis brought us into discussion of Raiders lease
The Raiders have extended their lease at the O.co Coliseum in Oakland for another year, giving time for the city and team to work on an agreement that would keep the Raiders in town for a much longer period of time.

Raiders owner Mark Davis said that the Oakland A’s are a major impediment to that effort because they signed a 10-year lease at the Coliseum in 2014. Davis said the A’s have “tied our hands behind our back” because they haven’t declared their intentions beyond that point and that the Raiders don’t want to build a stadium in another part of the site only to have “the ingress, egress, parking and tailgating experience” disrupted should the Coliseum subsequently be torn down to build a baseball stadium.

The baseball team responded to Davis’ comments on Friday.

“It is unfortunate Mr. Davis decided to bring the A’s into his discussion about the Raiders’ stadium lease,” A’s owner Lew Wolff said in a statement. “We respect his right to explore his options in and out of Oakland, including his widely reported consideration of Los Angeles and other markets. The A’s signed a 10-year lease at the Coliseum because we are committed to Oakland. Mr. Davis has said he is fully committed to do a new football stadium in Oakland and there is nothing in our lease that precludes Mr. Davis and the Raiders from building on the Coliseum site.”

There are also funding issues unrelated to the A’s that will need to get worked out before the Raiders can move forward on a new stadium in Oakland, so it’s probably a good thing for everyone involved that there’s more time to figure out solutions before any final decisions about the Raiders’ home are determined.

Two news bits from Rotoworld:

Raiders expected to pursue running back help
According to ESPN's Adam Caplan, the Raiders will be "looking to add another running back" this offseason.
Although Latavius Murray's final rushing stats (266-1,066-6) look solid on paper, Murray mixed in long bouts of ineffectiveness and also seemed to fall into coach Jack Del Rio's doghouse a few times. Caplan suggests the Raiders could make a run at free agent Matt Forte, who would almost certainly take over for Murray as Oakland's starter. The Raiders are flush with cap space and could easily beat out most teams if Forte is looking to break the bank. The Raiders were major players in the 2015 DeMarco Murray "sweepstakes."

Raiders to be among Malik Jackson suitors?
The Denver Post's Troy Renck suggests the Raiders could have interest in free agent DL Malik Jackson.
Jackson is scheme-transcendent lineman, and Oakland has dabbled in both 4-3 and 3-4 alignments the past few years. The Raiders primarily fielded a 3-4 in 2015, and the Broncos also ran a 3-4. Only 26 years old, Jackson is coming off career bests in tackles (45), sacks (5), and pass breakups (7). Oakland is loaded with salary cap space and could certainly be Jackson's highest bid.
