my everyday set up

Nice setup. How many mm is the cuban

NT,

I'm foreign when it comes to the jewelry industry. I've been in the market for a gold chain for quite some time now, nothing crazy just a simple chain.

I have an acquaintance whose family owns a jewelry shop here in VA. He quoted me $630 for a 14K 3.7mm/24" Cuban.

He sent me over the attached picture.

Is this a good deal?

What’s the weight?

I just asked him. He said 8.7 grams.

I think I've found my answer.

Thanks again NT.

I might just need to hit up the homie Ben on this one.
Bruhhhhhh :smh:

And this is why I made that previous post about my experience in jeweler shops.

Them dudes ain’t **** man. I’ll never trust a jeweler.

Tagged at 700 convince you he’s giving you a deal and knock it down to 600 all the while that **** ain’t eem worth 150  That’s exactly what woulda happened.

Order your chain of eBay from a trusted seller who sells in bulk that has his weights listed and accepts returns.

I got a question for y’all. I’m looking for a 22’ 3mm gold rope chain 14k.

I’ve narrowed it down to these two but can y’all let me know if something is off. They’re about the same weight but the second link is nearly 100 dollars cheaper.

Try jacoje his rope chains are well priced and he’s super legit. I copped a 3.5 rope from him before

For what it’s worth, I just ordered a necklace for my girl from thejewelrypot seller. It was a small necklace and I ordered the solid version as opposed to the cheaper hollow one he also was selling. When it came, I measured it and saw that he actually sent me a slightly thinner one and then I weighed it and looked back at his charts and realized he also sent me the hollow one instead of the solid one. I messaged him and he seems to be apologetic and will work out an exchange, but I’m wondering if he does this often and just hopes people won’t measure/weigh what he sends them.

Just make sure you measure and weigh whatever you get from him as soon as you get it. I’ve got a little scale that I use for weighing food when I’m dieting that I got for cheap off amazon so I just used that.

I have a food scale as well so no worries, he accepts returns and eBay buyer protection is Teflon so we'll be good regardless.

Hopefully it was just an honest mistake but then again jewlers are of the finessing variety so I wouldn’t put it past them.

I’ll still order and see what’s up. Keep us updated on the situation.

They seemed willing to work with me so I won’t leave negative feedback (assuming they come through). I was more telling you to make sure that if you ordered from them, then you’d measure and weigh what they sent just to make sure.

I don’t know how to verify if it’s real gold and solid or whatever though.

Yea I feel you. Just ordered mine. I’ll take it to a jewelry shop around my block when it comes in.
