Nike switched it up. Purple laces are on retail versions. I think silver laces to match the swoosh would look nice (I know someone posted some awhile back).

To be honest the moon sole is what makes the shoes which is sad bec you can't really see it because it's the sole ...something is just off with the shoes when you wear them and look down looks really goofy and odd

Strictly as a bball shoe with shorts, I don't think anyone could go wrong with them (aesthetically). But for casual wear, I can see them being hit or miss. The tones of the purple don't fade into each other and the toe cap could be a little distracting.
