The new contract projects to be 35% of the cap. All they saved is a 5th year.

And even though he's been a lock for All NBA every year I don't view him as a player that could lead a squad to a chip.

As younger players ascend the NBA hierarchy i'm guessing this contract is going to look terrible in short order.
