That's literally why he had the book. Also, the video is a year old, and Karl even responded to the re-post. Also, the story about Karl having the book was reported a million years ago when he was Denver's coach. This isn't new information. Also, it was a NYT best seller, and was controversial at the time for its title (I was in college when it came out). But, it's about the history and nuance of the word. At worst, it's a half-assed attempt by an older white coach to find a connection with younger black players. but, you know, it's 2026 and literally everything is triggering now.
