I got to see most of Magic’s games starting with the 87-88 season until he retired. Probably why he’s my 2nd favorite player all time and I have him higher in the all-time rankings than a lot of other folks. He was awesome to watch

Sadly, didn’t get to see nearly as much of Bird since it was much harder to see out-of-market games back in the 80s, early 90s. So my chances were when the Celtics played the Lakers or Clippers and National TV games. And he was already on the decline due to back issues when I got really into hoops
