The Official Netflix Thread Tho: Recommend Streaming Movies

I have a hard time believing the people who think El Camino wasn't good were ever that in to Breaking Bad

It was like two Breaking Bad episodes, just with some flashbacks.

Anyway, I finally started watching Top Boy. I've been missing out.
Because breaking bad wasnt as good as some made it out to be

I was very much into Breaking Bad. But my issue with not liking El Camino is that the way it played out just made it unnecessary. Nothing really special happened.

Just sounds like what he said, you're not really a fan of BB in the first place.
Is that fair though. I already admitted I wasnt a fan of the first 2 seasons. But 3 4 5. I thought were great seasons.
I'm probably the biggest GOT fan on this site. And I'm still first to admit season 4-8 weren't great. Does that make me not a fan?

Look at the comparison though.

If half of a series had seasons that weren't great then its more than fair to say the series isn't as good as everyone made it out to be; GoT.

You admit the majority of BB seasons were great while you weren't feeling the first two. Lets keep in mind s1 of BB was 7 eps. So I mean to say BB isn't as good as everybody made it out to be just sounds more like you weren't really that big of a fan.

the departed leaving netflix, i've only watched it twice though :frown:

Watch it a few more times. Recently i’ve seen posts saying it’s not as good as Infernal Affairs. People really thinking a remake or new interpretation can’t also be good. I like both but The Departed is more memorable to me plus the humor in it was great and Vera Farmiga bae showing her succulents.

The GOt comparison tho is more from me being a book snob. But everyone know season 5 and 8 were a complete crap show

think the departed is a rare case of the remake surpassing the original, just really captured the location and boston mannerisms

So how does this Verizon thing work. I keep hearing existing fios users dont get it. But saw reports we do
Wondering the same.:nerd:

Might call customer service and whine like a baby, see if they give it to me.

They gave me 2 years of Netflix though so maybe I’ll just pay for Disney+.

Finished Sneaky Pete. Awesome show. I was getting a little annoyed with the California storyline until Pete got there.

Suzanne or Susan, the Indian casino manager was thick. Looks like she lost weight in recent years shame. Gina was pretty as hell.

Too bad Amazon cancelled the joint after 3 seasons but it was a good show.
