Every time I see a tribute it makes me tear up. I hated Jordan so much as a knicks fan as a child that I never appreciated him for his greatness.

Kobe I liked off the rip even with all his flaws because of his determination which was Jordan like. He was the closest thing to Jordan in terms of personality and I forever appreciated him for that. The fact that his shoes exposed me to wearing low tops to play ball in with the 5s was just a topping. Seeing one of your childhood favorites go like this just hurts. One of my friends posted this today and I don’t think anything hit me as hard.
