But they still weren't "corks" It literally wouldn't make sense to release a champagne cork material shoe if there was nothing to celebrate.

More then likely nike already has the corks in production so regardless they gonna release plus nike knows that it will sell out if they wins or not

In the end they will sell them, because of the hype and the easy money. They don't care if he wins the title or not that much.
