I've always been a big fan of beats, and I always have some beats in my head that I make up. So I wanted to know what program is good to make beats on aMac?

you have the right idea.. try using some different drum sounds... explore you drum library and or layer drum/eq sounds to try and get the right drum sound overthe synths and bass you use.. i honestly feel that theres a perfect hat, kick and a snare that goes with a beat, not just any ol 808 or 909 drum

NuMba1KiCkrocka - Once again thanx for the appreciation. Your "Dontcha Say No" track soundin pretty good. Keep doin ya thing on thesample's you'll get better..trust. Your "Searching" track sounded a bit better than "Dontcha Say No", thought you could have usedsome different kicks and snares wit it. But still,..keep doin ya thing. Especially on your synth skills. Fresh.

About to start working on mixtape/EP, so I'm going to HAVE to hit a few of you guys up because I'm searching for a different sound, I have to thinkoutside of the box. Cupid is ince.
 
Showed this to Time and Mez a few weeks ago... Basically was in a Studio session early December when one of?my clients asked me if I could "redo"Vybe's "All the way turnt up"... This track was done for fun and demo purposes only... Its a basic remake from scratch with my own twist to it...

Jape that track goes HARD. Seriously. EQ it a bit more to remove some of that mud sound and lay some proper transitions - you'll move that instantly.
Alan Garner - You need some work bro. I have to be honest with you, because its the only way to improve. Your not trash by any means. If you'd like acomprehensive breakdown of that beat just let me know.

. That is incredible, I'll EQ that !%*$! foryou bruh. Thats 5 out of 5 right there. I don't even give compliments like that.
- "no pain no gain"... Im a sucker for horns, so you know I loved those.. The problem with this beat is the kick you used and the synth bassline. Thekick is too weak and too heavy (sounds odd I know). The bassline is to simple for such a vibrant track. Seriously. That track could shine, REALLY shine if youaddress those two issues.. As is - its a very good beat.
