a track. but your beats dont reflect that. for example the track terror not sure what kind of sound your going for on that experiemental or what but themelody isnt there same with all in.
then you have more sampled tracks that arent full enough. so far we could be lovers is the one im diggin. you did pretty good on the chops man. and the chaseis a good one im feeling,

For Lets Go I liked how you used for the piano as a bassline at first but i wish you would've played chords with those notes at 1:03 and the changeup getsnice after that sequence

For Ill advised the open hi hat is a lil slow at the guitar needs more release up but i like the beat real progressive. Never mind on the release you did it onthe second sequence of the guitars guess that was intentional.

Perfect dozen loses its clarity when the chops come in i just bought some 100 dollar headphones i wanna hear that kick/crash/horn combo vibrate in my ear. Thisis you best joint out the 5 though.

Summertime the chops are rap like and not rnb like you shoulda stuck with the loop and added some instruments and fx because the sample sounds better rnb styleon some Bryan Cox $$@*

Let's Go- I didn't know where you where you gonna take that sample. Song is hot.�The beat might change up too much though.
Ill advised- A harder kick would have done the job, and the percussion is too much. Could probably slow down the tempo too.
Perfect Dozen- Real smooth. I woulda liked if the melody got chopped up or something in different parts, to keep it from sounding so redundant.

Grace- Very nice melody. The kicks sounded kinda off rhythm. I woulda liked a different hi-hat or something also.

"Players Prayer Remix"

Good overall sounds. Nice feeling the bass guitar but not really a good sequence. The percussion is great and you did a great job adding atmosphere on thehook. Good smooth R & B beat. I like the little break down part but seemed a little dated (Reminded me of Jodeci back in the day). Good job brah keep upthe good work. I'm going to have to hit you up for some R & B beat making tips in the future.



"Drop Giving Me 50 Remix"

Not a bad beat but not really feeling it at all. This is going to sound weird but it's a pro feel to it I guess just not my style of beat. The drums arereal good. You achieved the sound I think you were going for.

Not sure where you got that assumption, That comment was off base but thanks for the feedback. You can't please everyone.

"Let's Go"

Poor quality sample(needs to be mastered) and with a poor rhythm and baseline. Just not a pro sound at all. You need to master your samples, get some new drumsand learn about leveling out sounds. Clean up your samples with Recycle, Adobe Audition, or any program you have that can do it.


"Perfect Dozen"

The volume is wrong on this sample. Not feeling the drums but good sample. Has an amatuer feel to it due to poor drums, sound levels, and a bad switch up onthe sample. You should have just let the sample run like it was going or did another switch. Or even just let the drums run for a bar or two.


You need to scrap all your drum sounds because it sounds very amateur. You also need to learn how to level your sounds. You can barely hear your snares. Youalso need to smooth them out because there of bad sound quality. Either get them from a better source or master the sample before you even put them in themachine.




Juice

"The Distance"

Need to get your sound levels correct (when that other base line kicks in lower that down a little)but it's a nice indie style beat. But remember someonehas to rap or sing on the track (Key points a lot of A & R's will tell you or Artist themselves) so it might be too much going on.


"Moving Out"

I love the original song but not really feeling the way you chopped it up. I understand most producers on NT are from the Pete Rock/Primo school of thought andlove chopping samples (Even though that's not big in mainstream hip hop right now). I just feel this wasn't the right sample to chop. But overallit's solid but maybe you could have chopped it another way plus you need a cleaner cut on the part where he says "moving out". You obviously havea great ear for music though and I look forward to hearing projects from you in the future. I sent a reply to your pm too sorry for the delay.

Great job going back in the lab on this joint. The drums are so insane man, I love what you do with the drums. Not feeling the switch up on the sound or thepattern but it's better than the OG one. I don't even want to hear your tracks once you master instruments man your going to be a beast.

Once again great job on the drums and percussion just have to improve original sequences and choosing better sounds. But you have a bright future. You do agood job with your sound levels.

Walk Wit A Limp-I like the Juve sample, dope. It sounds like an older beat he'd spit on. Id vary thevelocity of the kick, give it more depth and make the 1/8ths pop more.
Stupid, Dumb, & ******ed-I like everything about it except the string stabs/pattern. The stringsthemselves sound good but I dont like the pattern

Street-I kept waitin for that snare to pop in lol. I like the melody a lot. It has a dark feel to it. On the hook I like the subtle stuff you added. Sounds good.

Juice--
The Distance-Has a real foreign sound to it. Its diff. but in a goodway. Simple, but effective.

Wow.....I just explored other forums besides "Jordan" for the first time....

I have been going through the past couple pages of and listening to all the different beats... a lot of them are cool but the quality on most is not thebest.....I would say out of all of them Mez 0ne got some good soundin joints up there, im feelin P.O.C.

Im gonna post one of my beats when i got off work with in the next couple days if not today....and i dont have myspace or i would post a link...

"Grace" is definitely dope as hell. Sounds a little too below the Mason-Dixon for you (from what I've heardfrom you) , lol. I mean at least with the snare in there. Drums are great though. The strings are good but I think a reeverb on that would have made it alittle better (Just being picky). Overall a solid 8/10. Wasn't this sample posted some time back.

Something quick I whipped up for my boy down south.
 
Hypebeast - All Around the World is official. I would work on mixing the strings a lil better. They don't sound bad for the majority of the song but whenyou place the lower strings with the higher strings at the end that's when you could tell that the mix could be tighter with those. Really Want It is nicetoo but I wasn't feeling that main melodic synth. I would suggest changing the instrument for that or change up the notes for that.

Enzo - I liked the lil break you did with the melody in Vacation. I'd suggest getting some better synths so it can compliment that more and get some harderhitting drums. As HBMcS said with the second joint, the melodies are there but just get some better synths and work on mixing those along with your drums tomake them sound more fatter/dynamic.

Zokid - The melodies on Weave the Way are tough but the drums (mainly the snare and clap) are hindering the beat at times. I'd suggest changing the snareor at least turning it down a little. I rocks with Rings but I think that a creative bassline would take it to another level.

IYE2 - The Young Jeezy remix is tough. You did ya thing on that one. I don't think that I've heard the original before. It sounds like some old Jeezythough.

OutaControl - It's hard to remix a beat to a song that's almost perfect like Player's Prayer but I like what you did to it. Sounds veryprofessional.

I'll add some more feedback later but in the meantime please check out my new beat. I added a guitar near the end of the beat so check for that as well andthe feedback will be much appreciated.

"All Around the world" - Now see... this is exactly why I don't like to listen to other producer's tracks. This is awesome, man. Itdefinitely sounds like it could go to someone of the likes of Estelle, Robin Thicke, or Craig David.

"Really Want IT" - Using Superwave? Is this inspired by Ayo Technology? I think this could be a similar type of track with a rapper on the track anda pop act singin' vocals and even an 8 bar @ 3:10. This is dope too.

"Another Planet" - This sounds like a story telling track for Lupe or even Nas. I noticed you like that "Hey" sound. I don't think itworks for this track but it doesn't really hurt it. This is nice and simple. Definitely sounds like an early morning beat.

Something quick I whipped up for my boy down south. - "Hey!" I new that was coming before I clicked play but only because of the type of track yousaid it was. This sounds like the perfect track for Gorilla Zoe or David Banner. The first two people I thought of. This is simple and to the point as well....

Dude I worked on that mess for hours yesterday figuring out how I wanted it to play out. I was going to change up the sample, I probably still might, but Iwas tired as hell once I got everything the way I wanted. Thanks for the feedback, man....

The Leader to Follow - This !%*+ is epic as hell..... I'm jealous rightnow because I'm really getting into movie scores and this is exactly the type of music I want to be producing. I LOVE THIS TRACK SOO MUCH... I'm notashamed to say it. As for my graduation song, the girl I did it for wanted that sample to play continuously throughout the song. However she hit me with anemail telling me that her committee wanted the song to have a faster tempo and to be more " crunk and hyphy".... I guess.... so without furtherado....
