The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago.

Just do a system restore.

You lose all your save files, but you won't have to buy a new PS3.

Pretty sure all of your save files are gone anyway if you're getting that error and the file system wont restore.

That's why it's good to have PS+ because all your saves go to the cloud. Restore your PS3, download all your saves from the cloud, good as new. Hype, GameFly is dope, shipping is FAST for me, usually I get all new games on release date, but I don't live far from there main shipping office in LA.

I had PS+ on my OG account, too....

I'm probably just gonna go ahead and sign up for GameFly, because its stupid for me to keep spending $60 on games that I beat in one sitting and then never touch again.

A full out system restore worked for you? What was your ps3 doing? Mine freezes after a few minutes when I play any game. Plays dvd's and blurays just fine though. I'm thinking about copping playstation plus to copy my save data online and then doing a restore. I need to be sure that there's no other way to fix it first though.
