Anyone know why this store is in Times Square of all places?
I could be wrong but I always thought this was a generic brand you find in the Ross clearance racks.

Its not ralph but def not a bootleg/fake brand. Its actually the polo associations brand. So like the equivalent of NBA or NFL for the actual sport of polo in usaAnyone know why this store is in Times Square of all places?

I know this is a polo/rl thread, but I just saw this Todd Snyder x LL Bean collab, and it looks like they are aiming dead center Polo Country.
A few pieces and looks.Think a lot of this would mix in well with polo stuff.

It's there because think about who your typical times Square visitor dropping cash on clothes. A person from someplace in the US or world who can't distinguish between USPA and PRL. They put their stores in locations where they can leverage confusion between the brands which is something they have done since the beginning.Anyone know why this store is in Times Square of all places?

Hhaha my brother doesnt know **** about clothes and or care but he was over a few weeks ago and says to me "you know they sell polo at walmart now!?" I tried explaining the difference to him but he didnt get it. "it still says polo" he said.

In terms of polo shirts yes .. PRL has changed materials over the last few years but still pump out good quality gems at times ..

That collection is nice. Ll bean in general has some great quality items for good prices. Alot of stuff even better quality than polo for half the price. I got plenty of ll bean in my wardrobe. Some items to check for below. . Denim & supply waxed denim moto jacket.
there is another version that’s a muted black nothing on front and “67” in silver on back.,Same exact jacket just treated differently (application of wax). I passed on the pants that was available at the time (very moist lookin).
Woven wing x engine patch on left arm
Matching tee (there’s a matching full zip hoodie also I have not in pick)
D&S had so many under the radar pieces (ain’t it always like that w/ RL) that was overlooked or never seen just to pop up years later. At one point Macy’s on 34th was practically giving away items for dam near pennys. The D&S store that was university (the old rugby 
store) was doing the same.

Thinking out loud here, but it’s strange how we had a release date for the 2017 stadium collection but still no date for the Tokyo collection. Sometime in October..but how far into fall can you release a collection of shorts, light pants and tank tops??

I can see some similarity in a few of the items you posted. I hate colabs that don’t make any sense so thank you for bringing this to my attention (looking into the other label) looks ehhhh but this wouldn’t be what I personally would be looking for from LL bean actually this is the type of items that would make me go harder to find LL beans true product. that duck boot tee /sweater is the classic timberland layout from the 90’s especially that tee.

It’s a misconception that LO was the only label 🏷 rocked by us that was there in real time.
stores like EMS(eastern mountain supply),paragon ,tent and trail and Mail order catalogs like cabelas was our inner city playgrounds then you start moving around on your own and taking road trips across the country and these stores and the options that not only bang but that are functional are and still a blast to those of us that are connoisseurs

If you want it to stay 100% mint, don't snap that little strap closure. Unless they've improved it, the little plastic button WILL break. Hopefully, they've addressed this issue in these latest releases.
