Huge R.I.P to the Triple OG LL Founder Ski Black.

I only "knew" him from afar, through years of the tales of his legend and his first hand accounts, first through Thirstin' Howl 3rd's early albums, and then later through the Gram. Even Ralphy finally publicly acknowledged that the Lo Lives played an integral part of elevating him from just a clothing company to an actual lifestyle.

For those who don't know, we are still in a time and culture where the legends still walk amongst us, if you take the time to recognize that. Hell, in that photo alone is Ski Black, Prance Lo, Polo Pirate, and Krash. Their contributions to this thing of ours alone... and that's just four dudes.

Rest well, Ski Black. He was there.

That vest is styled off a fly-fishing vest, so yes, it does stop right at the waist. Ralphy stays pretty true to the cut of a fly fishing vest, when he goes that route. Mine is the only one you'll see where the owner meticulously matched the material and had an extension panel professionally sewn on the tail to extend the length to below the waist in back. (I couldn't stand the "duck-tail" look. )

I have the Hi-Tech version in XXL, and honestly, I kind of swim in the thing. An XL would have done it. But that is the Hi-Tech version, which is made of a silkier "parachute" cotton, which none of the other variations are made of.

My next custom will be a french terry red one of one sweatshirt ...

I like the artwork on the old bear and I like the texture of the bears face.
French terry will match perfect with the texture of the bear art work.

I realized I have the money and better materials so I buy the new stuff
and custom the old stuff.

I dont sell, its for my personal wardrobe.
