I used to like how each store didn’t get everything so the hunt was on. Before julz or Vado! It got to the point I would hit there on the regular as soon as they open since my old gig was not far. When they shut the nyc one the turned it in the D&S store. I regret not doubling up on these salvage denim. Retail was $200 something I payed $20

Not gonna lie I didn’t really get familiar until Vado & Juelz started name dropping at the time I was still wasting money on flavor of the minute bull ish like 10 deep & Diamond Supply. $ definitely would of been better spent at the rugby store. That’s a steal for Selvedge denim what’s a fair price for those these days?
 
It was almost unbelievable how cheap some of that rugby stuff got when they started shutting down. And then a lot of the leftovers ended up in marshalls and tj maxx for super cheap as well. Good times.

Who was the cat that was screenprinting rugby flannels for their clothing line? I wanna say it was early virgil but I could be mistaken.

😂 I like 10D and Ds they had a couple of kool tee’s so did lrg. I had a crazy bape camo gor tex jacket. Now a young smoke diza was the only one that was up in there all the time,I never saw the other two in the spot. I don’t even know ,good question I see all kinda prices for rugby iteams. It’s one of Ralph lines that funny like that.
The new polo moto line is a rugby and D&S mix in terms of design.

You have to get creative with the heading in the search. One time found a averex bag to a line they had I thought I owned every piece to..crazy thing is I wasn’t even looking for anything averex. All these are mine I got from the store
i remember I wanted to double up on the white 2010 Olympic USA vest. Seen racks of them in macys then nothing They never pop up. I only knew or saw one other person besides me that had it at the time. Wasn’t until this year I see them pop up.

Man and it was all smeedeums 😂 even the outlets got in on letting pieces go.it went fast. The sales was crazy i let a lot go some of them I regret I like a lot of the early stuff from 04–08 🔥🔥
I vaguely remember that..I think they did a in store invite only. Idk about the Vergil thing
 
I missed the rugby talk. One of my favorite lines from the brand and at one the point it took up most of the real estate in my closet. That end of business sale at the Georgetown location was epic and Im mad at myself till this day for not having a place of my own cause the furniture was for sale and it looked amazing. It’s an interesting shirt. Wool is itchy the fit is good but the xl makes it more of a shirt not a shirt jacket. Two pockets outside and massive inside pockets.

It’s thick but not too thick like Rubi Rose lol

Definitely was Virgil.

I still have one of my og rugby flannels that I recall him turning into a pyrex or been trill piece.

I definitely miss rugby and I can't believe they shut that line down before D&S.
