MS going all in on Gamepass. This is them throwing the kitchen sink.
Will this force Sony to go the same route too?

Even though Jeff has been on point with rumours, I'm still taking this with a big grain of salt as that is billions in revenue gone.
MS have removed the option for 12 month Gold on their website though and on the 24th Jeff mentioned this on a podcast alongside Halo Multi being free and from leaks it looks like HALO multi will be free.
Mainly thinking about the PlayStation side of things but exciting times ahead. Competition is going to be fierce.

Yeah Xbox is basically going for gaming Netflix which will be interesting to see. It won’t help with having more games than a person can play though. It is a little frightening because that Netflix syndrome thing is real and something I am trying to correct before next gen.

The only thing bothering me is the bandwidth situation. I know for sure I'm not cutout for all that nextgen streaming/downloading.

I have Comcast and GamePass and I've never went over my data cap, and that's with plenty of video streaming. I think they raised the cap since Corona too

I found out recently what you're talking about when I checked my Comcast bill earlier...........jacked up the entire data cap a whole extra 200 GB to make up for all the "work-at-home" folk worrying about breaking the 1 TB data cap with their voice conferencing and Netflix activities.
1.2 TB data cap now for a month...........still a ******* joke. It is still bogus we still have a data cap with COVID-19 forcing everyone to stay at home more

Cap increases are temporary. Trust that guy in charge; Apai or whatever his name is, gonna make sure of it.
