Slept on this film for awhile because i figured a movie about magicians would suck. Just wondering, was that the real Angier that gets shot at the end or wasit one of the clones?

it was the real one. you didn't see all the clones dead in the water tanks? he only keeps one of him alive at a time.

I also liked The Illusionist a lot, both were really great films.

Awesome movie. there were so many underlying themes throughout the movie. and when you saw how the did both of their acts I was like

(no Karamo). It's a good movie. And yes, it was the real Angier that wasshot at the end.

I always mix em up though I mean really good actors, Jackman, Bale, Giamatti and Norton, and smoking women, Scarlett and Jessica Biel.

i actually liked prestige more than the illusionist. but im a huge bale fan (nh) and have always liked his work.

Very good movie.

I prefer it over The Illusionist.

I always thought the clone guy was the mastermind who had the greatest trick, but the twist proved me wrong.

nah u guys got it twisted it was a clone who was shot in the end. If you watch the movie again one of the clones shoots the real angier, when he was firstdoing the trick. the invisible man trick is random, so you dont know which end your coming out of. either you're the prestige or the person in the watertank... who ends up drowning to death. it was a risk angier was willing to take to fully immerse himself in the trick (which bales character did often as seenby his twin cutting his other finger and sharing his wife).
