Dont know about you guys but in the mid 90s when i begged my Dad to get the outfield seats at Camden Yards and Yankee Stadium it wasnt to Joey Cora slugdoubles. Best era in sports during my lifetime

I know very few people can say this (and very few believe the very few that can say it), but I hated it then and I hate it now.
I had a really close friend that was all about McGwire and Sosa in '98, but I wasn't feeling it. Logic told me there was foulplay, and that the boostin HR numbers was fishy.
I wanted the HR to be a rarity, and it wasn't anymore. And I hated it. I didn't know why there were like 3 HRs every game, but I didn't like it.

Honestly it's appreciated.
Although i'll forever be Anti Bonds, he played in that era thus should no longer be seen as such a villain.

And yea, I loved this era. I remember I got a commemorative thing for Christmas with gold cards for both Sammy and Mark, with a nice display case andeverything. I thought it was gonna be worth a crap ton in the future, then that bastard breaks the record like 3 years later...and now we know they were justjuicing up. I mean at the time honestly I didn't know the difference, I was like 10 years old and I figured Griffey was hitting em too, so I just assumedthey were big guys and great hitters

Cheating would imply he broke some sort of rule to gain an advantage.....but thats an argument for a whole different day.
