I did turn all of them downAfter inheritance you have several months to legally get rid of any inherited guns if you have no permit like me. In my case, that's turning them over the gun store for resale if all the necessary paperwork is there. Unfortunately my dad never had or didn't keep proper paperwork for 4 firearms and I'm trying to find any paperwork that would allow me to resell them through the local gun store.
At the end of that 4 month limit, you have to turn in any remaining guns you're not permitted to possess at that point to the police or else you're eligible for criminal charges. If I don't recover the required paperwork for those 4 firearms within that timeframe I'll turn them in for destruction with the police shortly before the deadline.
