the thread about nothing...

I did turn all of them down  After inheritance you have several months to legally get rid of any inherited guns if you have no permit like me. In my case, that's turning them over the gun store for resale if all the necessary paperwork is there. Unfortunately my dad never had or didn't keep proper paperwork for 4 firearms and I'm trying to find any paperwork that would allow me to resell them through the local gun store.
At the end of that 4 month limit, you have to turn in any remaining guns you're not permitted to possess at that point to the police or else you're eligible for criminal charges. If I don't recover the required paperwork for those 4 firearms within that timeframe I'll turn them in for destruction with the police shortly before the deadline.

Don't die b

Thats why I dont F with small towns. Everybody know your business some way some how... Kinda eerie if you think about it.
For the most part I think there's a far greater upside to living here as opposed to a city. It's in close enough proximity to larger towns and a somewhat major city, lots of nature, mostly quiet, big sense of community, very little crime, a soccer field, sufficient local stores for general grocery shopping, great public transport, ...
The negatives would be the nightlife of course, things to do compared to a city, and for some the whole "everybody knows eachother" thing is too bothersome.

Why not get a permit?
I'd need to either get a hunting license first or go through the route of obtaining a shooting club license in order to be eligible for starting the process to acquire a firearm permit. The closest one is pretty far and I'm not that interested in it. I'm keeping a nice air-gun my dad also had, a Diana 340 N-TEC. That's sufficient shooting for me
My landlord said I can shoot as much as I want in the back of his property behind our house we rent. He has a huge pile of dirt just laying there so I planted a target infront of it and whenever I feel like shooting I can go there.

Are you bussin off shots with them?
I've shot some of them before when I was younger. A few are quite old. But no I'd have to take them somewhere else to try them out and not attract too much unwanted attention. A shotgun tends to make a lot of noise in a quiet neighborhood. At this point I'd rather just be rid of all of them but before I mandatorily have to turn all remaining guns over to the police, I might as well use the remaining time to try and find paperwork that allows me to legally sell them through the gun store instead of just letting them get destroyed by police.

You need to lick shots for the lil babies in the projects, runnin round unsupervised with sharp objects.

I love diversity in the city.
Feels good to know that I can eat food from all around the world at a distance of 10 miles tops
Yeah the options for food, restaurants, ... and basically shopping in general in small rural towns are definitely a drawback compared to cities. I don't really mind it too much since the nearest city is only about 8km away.

Y'all got them Turkish "doner kebab" food shops in the US? Nearby city has 4 of them within 2 miles of eachother
That's the goat food to eat on a night out
