l didn't want to mention the race, but that's accurate. I noticed it when l moved to Houston and especially San Antonio. "I just barely turned 24". I knew what they meant but the context was slightly off. I looked it up and apparently there's a Spanish word for recently that doesn't have an exact translation. Or something like that.
