Without going into a long winded rant about it.
-Lack diversity doenst help your case in the eyes of employers
-Theyre too expensive for the education that youre receiving( an education comparable to all other schools for 1.5- double the cost)
-As much as proud HBCU graduates dont want to admit it, theyre regarded as inferior to other schools in the eyes of potential employers
-Employment recruiting is not nearly as big
-You lose your biggest trump card when you go to them: Being black. Being black and doing well at a "regular school" being black and doing good at an HBCU
Basically it does not set you up for your future as well as other school do, not saying that they dont cause all schools do but me college is solely about getting a job after, so HBCUs are not the move.

Yeah Pabs, for a while I thought I was trippin and something was wrong with me. So many people were like "I would have done it". Glad I didn't, and don't get it twisted, I had to fight with every fiber of my being not to try anything. It was indeed a test of wills that night

No doubt. I mean I had fun there and I'm lucky that I got a job at this point, which I'm sure you would to if you handled your business while there, but when I look around at some of the dudes who I went to school with, but are deeper in the hole than I ever was, with min wage jobs, and all they got is the "black experience" to look back on all I can say is NAHHHHH.

Rck2. They were started BECAUSE of segregation. These colleges are as old as any other. Black people have been smart, they just didn't admit Black people into Colleges for the most part because...you know. They were racist.
