the thread about nothing...

Well technically I own a paid off house now but idk if renovation could even save it. The whole thing smells of cigars, alcohol and god knows what else. Cigar residue on the ceilings etc.

We've been opening the windows every day for weeks, using all sorts of strong cleaning products, ventilators, air fresheners and it barely seems to affect the smell.
wipe walls with bleach if there white .. Shampoo carpet if u have carpet needs a deep deep cleaning and no smoking in the house lolok
In many cases you will have to replace carpet and wallpaper/paint to get rid of strong smells like that

However, when you balance the cost of replacing carpet with buying a new house, that is definitely worthwhile.

There will be MANY MANY games to be played.

This is could be your only graduation.

Priorities man. Priorities!

Colombia, I'm not sure what costs are like over there, but it sounds like whatever it is, my extended family over there can't afford it. Apparently my cousin has had a gofundme or something like that set up for some time, but so much of that money has been thrown at the wrong treatment type.

My dad has been sending 200-300 dollars a month, maybe more, and not sure for how long he's been doing it...and I just sent over 200 dollars but I don't want to keep doing that.

Fozzy, yea man I want to tell my dad we should stop sending money but he makes me feel so bad about it lol. My feelings about this would be completely different if I knew my money could help save a life.
ya but don't always believe DOCTORS and you GOTA have some faith that hopefully she will be OK my mom had cancer but she survived they try giving her kimo etc etc but refused it and till this day she is alive and doing better hope everything works out for your cousin

Can't blame him too though, he barely knows this person. So ofcourse he's gonna be skeptical.

But these Filipino doctors misdiagnosed the cancer to begin with... To have any more faith in them doesn't make sense.

And they're saying they rectified the situation.

I'm sure there are a lot of American Doctors that were wrong.

Don't mean you can hold them all accountable.

But my dad doesn't just work with any doctors. He works at the number 2 ranked cancer center in the country. If we can't trust what these doctors have to say then we just can't trust the Healthcare system in America in general lol

But, thinking it over, I can see why my family over there choose to have faith in their own doctors. If they don't have any faith in their own then why would they live there

I feel like my chronic disease is causing some strange growth in my arms. A while back the doctors immediately noticed too that for a patient with very limited mobility my legs and arms are very out of proportion. A while back they did a scan on my calves because they've enlarged significantly and they feel very solid when you touch them. Turns out that there is basically a sort of fluid build up inside both my lower leg muscles and that's why they look so enlarged and feel very muscular. They noticed my arms being out of proportion too but it wasn't that significant at the time.

But recently it just feels like they're grown a lot in size despite having lost almost 10 pounds. It just looks kind of ridiculous now, especially depending on the lighting. I was in our backyard and noticed the lighting in the window so I took a flexed picture to document the strange growth.

It might be just me, but considering I haven't gone to the gym in over 4 years due to my condition and have had very limited mobility for at least 2 years it just strikes me as very odd. Others notice it too that it just doesn't match at all with my limited mobility and that it seems to have grown significantly the past few months.

The hormone treatment shouldn't have anything to do with it either as it was only a week or 2 ago that the hormone specialist called me saying my testosterone was still far too low despite the treatment. I have doing a little bit more physical activity due to the minor improvements from my treatment but nothing really that should cause rapid growth. Certainly not this kind of growth. Just like my legs it feels like solid muscle too but I very much doubt it is actual muscle.

If I remember correctly the last time we talked about this, you were talking about how you were wheelchair bound cuz your legs were weak and atrophied but your arms was getting stronger because your upper body responds better to the treatment than your lower body.

And before that you were just weak all over in general before your body started responding to treatment.

That picture is you?

Where do you live again? Can I come over and get the same treatment lol

Yes that's me. My upper body seems to be responding better to the treatment but at the end of the day I still can't sustain much continued activity. Only exercise I do for my arms is 3 sets of dumbbell curls with low weights, no more than 5kg at the very most. And 3 sets of overhead triceps extensions, also with a low weight barbell. Not much more than that as my muscles need a pretty long time to recover and the DOMS last several days. So that's once a week.

Certainly nothing that would warrant growth like this.

Btw I think I'm really proof that you don't need to get skinny to get faster at running. I tried running today for the first time in a month and I surprised myself with a 7:02 mile time. And my *** is still huge.

I really just need to focus on diet. Like I've said a couple of days ago, it's gotten better recently, my diet. Hopefully it'll pay off.

Yes I'd rather run outside but the weather in NJ is terrible during these months so I have to do cardio at the gym

I can run a mile on the highschool/college track in alittle over 5 minutes.

On the treadmill, it says like 8 minutes. :| I can run a mile and a half in 8 minutes.
