Can't do white socks. Looks juvenile. All my socks gotta be black. Looks better aesthetically
unintentionally
Fixed.Stance socks >
Nike caught alot of blacklash from the typography of the logo. Muslim community took offense to it cause it mocked islamic typography.

Made popular by Mitch Richmond and Tim Hardaway back in the day, the Nike Air Bakin’ shoe was released in 1997 and has even been re-released or “retroed” in 2007. I remember my Dad got me a pair of these when I was a little kid and I honestly thought they were called the “Air Bacon” for being red and yellow and slightly resembling bacon. Either way these shoes are outrageously comfortable and I think that Nike should continue to re-release them in different colorways.
When the Air Bakin’s were released they were recalled shortly after because the “Air” logo on the back closely resembled form of the word “Allah”, causing Nike to replace the logo with their trademark swoosh patch on the heel.

I always thought they were named that (Short for Baking) and also seeing how the logos were stylized as fire.
Who designed them anyway? Avar?
