Some of these players are getting out of hand. I respect them if they fight for something like Kaepernick, but to compare themselves as slaves while getting paid millions and have fame is ridiculous. Like any job if they don’t like it then leave or find another job that pays them millions...if that’s even possible.

If you want to compare someone as slaves then look at social workers or teachers, they get chump change for all those hours.

It goes beyond playing/following the orders of the coaches and owners. I am talking about the orders of the ELITE. These professional athletes are actors at the end of the day, and these sports leagues are more akin to WWE than actual competition.

You're taking a really simple situation and making a grand conspiracy out of it. People with resources (Business owners, record execs, ceo's etc) have the bargaining advantage, they will more often than not offer talented/capable individuals contracts in their favor so they can maximize profits. Sometimes, the talent can bargain to their advantage and not get a one-sided contract if they themselves have the capital and leverage on their side. Most of the time, they don't so you get people who resent the business owners, execs, ceo's etc.

Whether you think that is wrong or right is up to you, but it's not some grand conspiracy perpetrated by the "elite's", that's just capitalism being capitalism.

I feel for you man. That happened to me last year while I was in school. I was interviewing for a job right near my apartment and it would've been perfect to get my foot in the door to the career I was pursuing. I thought I absolutely nailed the interview but I ended up not getting it and was so pissed. I really wish companies would tell you WHY they didn't select you. You'll get your opportunity soon.
