The bears moving on would have been a big deal.
They had the better record and the franchise and fans desperately needed that.
Probably would have been more lucrative.

And also foles got the last td on a fourth and goal.
The bears D didn't just quit after 3 downs.
They were obviously trying to make a stop

And there about 50 balls used in a game that pass through many inspections , some randomly selected...even moreso now because of deflate gate. No one recognized there was a magnet in the ball? I assume it would have to be somewhat large to pull a ball kicked with that much velocity

It will be Dree Brees vs Nick Foles. More of the public know who the Eagles' QB is than the Bears' QB. Chicago will get thier turn soon. Even if a script is in play, it still has to make the game interesting. The team that is supposed to lose isn't going to tie their hands behind their backs and surrender.

If the NFL is in on this whole script, they will allow any ball to pass. I actually think Deflategate, Spygate, and every other Patriots scandal were all fabricated to paint the Patriots as antagonists. There has to be a dominant villain that has a loyal fan base while the rest of the world is rooting for their downfall.

Listened to a podcast with a 9/11 first responder. He was a reporter but also volunteered (helped him find stories to cover). He started by wanting to cover sports however. Says a buddy he grew up with was an MLB starter, started WS games, and fixed a lot of games due to ties with the mob.

I had the link to it cuz that was one of the best podcasts I'd ever heard but freaking accidently hit the close all tabs button this morning.

I follow boxing more than I do any other sport. The fixing in boxing are of the lowest level simply because boxing as a whole does not have as much of an impact and reach as the other major sports. Usually all it involves is a shady promoter and a couple judges or it could be Fighter A taking throwing a fight so that his friends and family can win betting on Fighter B.

The scripting and fixing in the major sports are much more elaborate. At the highest level it involves a lot of moving parts- corporations, casinos, media outlets, local economies, etc are are involved and intertwined. Like I mentioned earlier, I cannot be certain whether or not some advanced technology was used to manipulate the ball in the Bears-Eagles game. However, I wouldn't doubt that the technology exists with so much riding on the outcome of certain games.

Is why I DONT think the NFL is fixed.
That's alot of people. In the times we live in now, if the NFL were fixed, somebody would be itching to get that out there.

Someone who thinks a game is on the up and up, cannot prove it either. We are on opposite sides of the fence and neither of us can prove our theory. There are certain things that you and I speculate about, but cannot prove for fact because we do not have inside information so it might always be conjecture. For instance, you probably have a bank account. But have you met the owners and president of the bank? Is FDIC legit? Yet, you trust them with your hard-earned money and perhaps your life savings.
