Is anyone really happy gambling?

I always am. I’m not addicted because I value and respect money but it’s fun if you set your limit low and stick to it.

I find keno / hotspot fun to play $1 at a time but won’t spend more than $6 per sitting. I’ll go on with my day win or lose.

How often do you go to the casino? Or just mostly keno/hot spot?

I go once every 2 years since I visit family in Vegas. When I do play I’ll do the roulette table or the 21 table. The most I spend for gambling is $150 to $200 and that lasts me the 3 days I’m there. As for hotspot / keno, I’ll spend about $5-$6 dollars every other day. I sometimes go weeks without playing because I simply forget to.

the only game i know how to play is black jack and that **** is scam according to pro gamblers
Ahhh. The last time I gambled at a casino was about 20 years ago or so. Black jack was the last thing I played and lost $100 in 5 min haha. I have the worst luck in the world, anything that could go wrong will go wrong so I stay away from gambling.

That’s not bad at all if it lasts you 3 days. I guess you’re right, just set a limit and don’t expect much then it could be fun. But sometimes people don’t know how addictive it can be and they just keep playing and then lose more than expected. Then they keep playing hoping they could win it back but end up losing more. The house always win.

Yeah man, I set limits and stick to them. Can’t be out here throwing money away when it’s hard to earn it in the first place. My dad had (might still) that problem and only quits when he’s all out broke :smh: That’s when I knew gambling wasn’t something to count on.

House always wins, true. Reminds me of the intro to the movie “Casino” when Robert De Niro’s character says...

“I mean, what do you think we’re doin’ out here in the middle of the desert? It’s all this money. This is the end result of all the bright lights and the comped trips, of all the champagne and free hotel suites and all the broads and all the booze. It’s all been arranged just for us to get your money. That’s the truth about Las Vegas. We’re the only winners. The players don’t stand a chance”

I remember watching that movie and hearing that. It’s a great marketing technique Vegas doing with the free rooms and stuff. And back then if the house loses they prob sent the mob to finish off the winners. Won’t be surprise if they still do.

One of my high school ex's uncle was addicted to gambling. He kept gambling even though he was losing a lot, the dude just came from China too and hoping to get rich quick. One evening someone that had to do with the casino (the casino was known to be corrupted) came banging at their aunt’s door in the middle of the night, it was a 3 unit place and my ex lived in the second unit so she heard everything. The dude threatened to chop off the uncle’s hand if they didn’t pay up, some of the relatives even said go ahead because they’re sick of his ****. But they ended paying it.
