the thread about nothing...

Damn man. One of my most feared ways to go.

I was into Air Disasters for a bit before on Youtube and I think Amazon Prime or something had the full episodes. Was very interesting on what happened to these planes during these crashes. Its really a series of unfortunate events and decisions, a mechanical issue or just something out of the norm.

One video I saw was of I think an eastern European airline, the pilot had 2 young kids he let in his seat during the flight. He left the auto pilot on and let the kids mess around with the controls, long story short the plane started to dive and he coudnt figure out why and I think the auto pilot switched off and the kid was nose diving the plane and didnt even know or something like that. If I remember correctly he coudnt even get in the seat to properly fix or diagnose the problem cause the g forces were
too much. Plane eventually crashed smh.
you remember that video's name? gotta find it. I was into disasters and stuff like that and listened several times regarding seconds before disaster recording especially on airplanes. some of the recording were bone-chilling considering the horrific screams of some of the pilots before crashing.

I made a mistake of ordering some spicy fried chicken yesterday. didn't know they were "that spicy". gotta stop eating chicken for now.
Damn, I wonder what type of sauce they used. Sounds like a good one but you needed some type of salad to chase that spice.

4x4, animal-style, no tomatoes. Tried to go protein but I need them warm buns filled with sauce.

not sure but somehow quite on the much stronger side of Cayenne. it is quite irritating for my throat and made me cough a bit more. I like spicy but not that spicy that would be an irritant. my brother in law bought some korean fire noodles some years ago and that one for me was brutal.

Sounds pretty bad and I’ve been there too. It happened with some extra spicy noodles. Didn’t take more than 3 minutes in my stomach before I threw them up. Luckily I was home when that occurred. I like spicy food but not when it’s over the top.

Never had fish tacos. What kind of fish did you use? Home made food is always > 👍. Like you, the spice in the fresh green pepper was killing me today morning lol.
Not sure what kind it was because my sis bagged up the filets individually. It was great though! Fresh cut cabbage, tomatoes, onions, peppers and lemon juice.

Ahh man, the spice got you too huh? We got to build up some tolerances. I feel like a newbie 😂

typically, just dip it. other than that, it's anything goes. you can use your whole hand slammin it to your face, as that was one of the speakers mentioned (as a joke) in our orientation when he visited India. good thing about eating in such places is that there is no judgement (in general) compared to eating at a high-end western style restaurant.
Absolutely no judgement because in Desi cuisine as well as Middle Eastern cuisine eating with your hands is the norm & the go-to way to eat your meal.

yup. I think it was extra spicy with a 2X or 4X on the spiciness scale. I mean, what the hell were they thinking. possibly just use 1/4 of the powder on a pot of water and make your own beef broth. I couldn't eat the damn thing and have to wash off the noodles.

I eat those spicy Korean noodles once in a while.
Drink hella water while eating it lol

Bro, I'm such a fake Pakistani- I cannot handle spicy food lol. The spiciest I can do is like hot sauce  & that's it. My country's foods are full of spice & everytime I go to a Paki or Indian restaurant I make sure to tell the server "everything MILD please". My family & a good friend of mine love spicyness. He can't have food unless it's spice level is through the roof. I don't understand how can people enjoy their food when it's insanely spicy like that. That **** be burnin my throat & makes my nose run. I don't know about you but I don't have any hope of building my tolerance level lol.

my little one loves to eat with his hands even if he's accustomed to fork/knives/spoon and chopsticks. but when it comes to noodles, it's all chopsticks.

I was thinking and about to post the same thing. I can't understand how people enjoy that kind of spiciness. I have some certain qualifications of what I considered as great spiciness. 1. perfect amount of heat that would make you appreciate the spiciness with the flavor, 2. enhance your appetite, 3. shouldn't cause any significant discomfort of sorts whether burning and irritations. I know the level and intensity of such flavors and spiciness can be cultural but I believe that there should be a perfect balance and specific ratio that would make a perfect dish.

Good advice! It was my first time trying them and I should’ve done that instead of emptying the entire packet, lol.

Worst part was having that stuff in my nostrils when I threw up. Burn sensation was intense, smh.

Just did the Hot Ones challenge with some friends. Its tolerable until sauce #8 or so then you dont really taste anything but spice/chemicals. But until then, you can actually taste the differences in the sauces and its pretty interesting.
