the thread about nothing...

My daily entertainment is checking the insane twitter feed of Laura Loomer. She's melting down at the NY wins and it's glorious.

At the age in life where I'm cool on roller coasters now

I feel like I hear a story every 3 months or so how a ride broke down and people are stuck in thr air for hours before rescue

If Google is correct there are around 6800 roller coasters operational in the world, the average coaster runs around 300 cycles in a day. So, if my math is correct, and you are on one of those roller coaster rides in a 3-month period, and one of these events happens every 3 months or so, you've got somewhere around a 1 in 183,600,000 chance of being stuck on a coaster in the air. That's somewhere between matching 5 numbers and all 6 numbers in a Powerball drawing.

There is a better chance that you draw a random name of a US citizen out of a hat, knock on a single, random door of any random US house or apartment, and that person that you drew lives there, on the first try.

But I get it.

have you guys ever seriously called someone a karen? what happened?
I tend to ignore or avoid conflicts where someone (man or woman) is acting like that.
Those kind of people will find any reason to scream louder at you anyway. They get mad when you ignore, mad when you react uninterested and even more mad when you talk back.

Not worth the hassle.

We had a good tour of there. It's pretty overwhelming - unlike most galleries that can be sparse, it's wall to ceiling paintings in every room - and the rooms are tall and large. It amused us when the guide would say "oh, over there that's another Raphael, there's a Caravaggio in the corner..." My sister in law is an art professor and was jealous of what we saw.
