i think the Polo is a great looking watch like this 150th anniversary but pricing it at $15k is a bit much, i think it really should be below $10k but I guess thats harder to do when Omega is selling their moonwatch at the same price now and the brand probably sees themselves higher tier than omega and they dont want to go down market but thats also why they aree not even in the top 25 of the best selling swiss watches and going down every year

but this polo could also be offered in a smaller case but copying the Polo79 dial-ish is a nice touch, it looks good and the brown dial plus rose gold markers goes well together but for $15k... just a bit much

talk to the manager and if you have a good history of purchases, tell them you'd like to continue working with them and that you need a new SA they'd keep that on record

happened to me last year and as a sign of good faith, the new SA actually offered me the green OP36 as the first watch but unfortunately he called the week my dad passed away and i had to say no at the time and while he hasnt really offered it to me since (one year in april actually) but i did get first dibs on the Ranger 36 dune

(well i contacted him and told him tudor announced it and that they usually have stock ready for purchase the same day and he kinda of shrugged me off like i didnt know what i was talking about and then 30min later he called me and said they just opened a package from tudor that had the ranger 36s )

so dont give up, a good AD will do their best to keep you as a customer

after purchasing a cartier santos last year, i visited a few rolex ADs and put my name down for a sub no date and a mint green datejust thinking that they'd allocate me something in 6-12 months. i got extremely lucky and one of the ADs called and allocated me the sub a month later

also another supposed "rumor" is that theyre discontinuing all current color ways and coming out with new ones, 41mm, and a ceramic dial.

dont see the benefits of a ceramic dial, its main benefit is being scratchproof but it can shatter easily from a drop, thats just going to be more of an issue moving forward

Omega is really insane with these prices

a full gold with gold bracelet goes for $59k

while the full gold 1908 is $20k less so im not sure who would go for the Omega? The Omega is also 39mmX12mm? While the Rolex is 39mmX9mm... so why is the Omega thicker than the BB58?
