The Walking Dead - Official Thread

Prisoners will be prisoners. they were there for a reason.

they have the prison locked down already, im pretty sure Rick will come up with a plan if another group decides to wander in.

8o we shall see within the next episoldes, lol

After what Shane did, RIck has the "trust no stranger" type of mentality. Can you blame him? Honestly, I would have done the same thing. Clearly when dude killed that zombie and tried to throw him on Rick, that told him all he needed to know about dude. How am I training you on how to survive and you are trying to kill me in the process? Nah son, you gotta go. It was shocking when he killed him, but I was like hell yeah :lol

Not only that they were convicts...but they weren't exactly happy to see them either. I would have murked all of em. Too standoffish for me.

I dont mind him killing the main guy, but the other cons werent that bad. The bearded red head was somewhat nice and the others just followed the orders of the leader. Rick shouldve just taken the guy off alone and done him in

It's still a risk.

At the end of the day he let them live and gave them their own cell block. They should consider themselves lucky.

First off, damn-you region-block! No webisodes for me.

It's incredible seeing the transformation of Rick... he's certainly adapting more to the environment.  Ruthless? Sure... but he's doing what needs to be done right now and that's to protect his people at all costs.  I love how they're building-up the mystery to what happened over the winter... surely they're gonna have to reveal that soon... letting us judge if Lori deserves to be shrugged-off by both Rick and Carl.

Having said that, Lori > Skyler.  I can't stand Sky.

Also, would it be too much if I posted a pic of Big-Tiny's head?

And after that little stand off with Dave and Tony in the bar. Rick just doesn't get along with strangers too well.

They were given the benefit of the doubt. The 2 guys made their move so they had to go nothing ruthless or Shane like about that. Rick was gonna let him slide until he pushed the walker on him.

After seeing them fight walkers why anyone wanna fight next to them against actual men?

Regardless of what he says, Lori is a poorly written/developed character that drags the show down. There's a reason that people, women included, want her to get killed off because of how awful she is.
I don't even know why at this point in the season they're saying she's changed. Haters still hate her. She hasn't done anything yet but talk, plus anything likeable can be blamed on being hormonal. If she's alive after the baby she could just go back to being the crazy slutish ***** she been all of S2.
Man you dudes in here are missing the big picture...
Yeah it's cool when people are getting murked or not, but it's not going to help in the future.
If this fool Rick starts killing all of the other stong people when **** hits the fan who's going to be there to back him... the women :lol
They're going to be treated like cattle and raped, sold or whatever if they run into a strong group of men.
This dude Rick is not thinking properly he's just straight up doing things for the moment... when he should be thinking about the long run.
They should be building up their group with as much strong people as they can and start taking over other groups and then everyone will have one man and one woman to themselves.
Another thing I think they should do is not kill walkers but keep them alive and up them all around the jail to deter others from coming it. Like use the walkers as a security barrier or a moat of some sort that way when someone sees the prison they'll see it has so many walkers they'll move onto something else.
They have the right idea though with growing some food, but Rick is not thinking about the strength of his pack. If they run into a group of men they only have two strong guys which is Rick and Daryll... then Maggie is after them... then T-Dogg... then Glenn... then Carl... then the blonde girl... then one footed Hershel... then Lori is last since she's so useless.
On another note though my dude Rick is on some straight up F Lori **** lol... wouldn't even acknowledge her as a wife :lol
You're really underestimating the women on this show. This aint a brawl. It'll always come down to has more guns and ammo and how many walkers are around. The situation you just described did just happen with the prisoners though. A bunch of men and what happened? 3 dead, 2 isolated. Now yeah they were inexperienced and had one gun but Rick still handled the dudes who wanted to start something. Looking down on the women will be how any enemies will end up dying. Instantly trusting strangers is just not gonna make sense. That's how they'll die quicker imo. There's got to be a process.

I do get your overall point though. That's why I want Tyrese to show up. Michonne and Andrea coming back eventually will be a help as well.

Not sure about the walker moat idea since, Rick's crew saw them and waded through them. Walkers in a prison will only scare away a small group that are somehow either not about that life or too weak/unprepared/low on ammo. A group of dudes see walkers around a prison and they'll be spending a night regardless

I honestly don't hate Lori. She can get annoying but I don't hate her. She's serving her purpose as her character. FTR, I thought she was foul from the beginning tho :lol

My most hated Lori moment was when she was .......ing at Darryl to do something for her. Then she called him selfish. Then Darryl words slaps the .... Outta her by stating how he's been looking for sophia and that she should go do it herself :hat

She'll always be Sara Tancredi to me and I'll always want to smash :evil

Yo, this season has been incredible so far. It seems like it's finally living up to its potential. Season 2 was so mediocre, minus the last couple episodes.

THIS!!

why would you keep a guy that clearly tried to kill you and another one that had no reason to run but did run?

If you re-watch they were giving each other eye signals after a while hinting that he was gonna try and kill Rick so be ready. Rick clearly saw that before dude opened the door.

I find it funny dude was locked in a cafeteria for 10 months and then was acting like the entire prison was his. Like he was trying to get a whole of the situation and try to read Rick to see what he wants so he could manipulate but was way too brash and forceful with it.

I was frustrated when Lori tried to act like she didn't know medical procedurhow to save Hershel. I was like , "girl, you're a friggin nurse!" But then I remembered that was prison break.

kinda messed up how rick fed the little fool to the zombies.

How? That lil ***** had cocked a baseball bat back at Rick just 20 seconds before that?

When did ya'll get all soft?

it was a reaction to homie getting a machete to the head.

exactly, dude probably thought he was going to be next. i'd kill the dude with the long hair too, but all the other dudes seemed legit. especially the big dude who got scratched.

Why does every hate Lori?
I just really got into the show with the last episode.

And to the dude who said Rick shouldn't have killed Tomas and let him and the other prisoners join the group must have missed the part where Tomas decided he wanted to suddenly play alpha male after being cool with being locked up for almost a year in a cafeteria.

He was given Rick death stares throughout the entire episode, subliminally sending him a message by killing Big Tiny with no hesitation, "accidentally" took a swing at him with the ax during that last fight with that group of walkers, and shoved a walker on him in an attempt to kill him. So Rick was suppose to let all this slide and welcome him to the group with open arms?

Tomas and to a lesser extent Kesan showed that they would pose a problem to Rick and the group. He did the right thing by deading all that nonsense and disposing of both of them.  And after what those two did he sure as hell shouldn't be bringing the remaining prisoners into the group which is what he did.

this is my thinking. The majority of the guys were just followers who just wanted help. But the main guy was the real issue. Once he was out of the way, the others would fall in line

Like I said before yall need to rewatch the ep and catch eye signals between the two guys where they were basically saying ok I'm about to get this dude Rick killed right now, be ready. Rick clearly saw them having eye contact and nodding towards each other. They were in it together.
