Gym. No idea how this isn't a solitary activity for everyone.
Air travel. Vacationing solo and with a group are both great but if we're going on a trip I don't need to coordinate my air travel with you.
I'll get there when I get there, you get there when you get there, and we'll have a good time.

I definitely agree about working out solo. Hell, I even hate going to the gym with someone, even when not actually working out together. I need that total focus. Movies, TV, etc of course.

I also like being at my house alone. When my girl is here, I never feel like I’m relaxing. I spend all my time having to pay attention to her. I like doing many things with her, but relaxing at home is not one of them. When I’m home I like to just zone out And do my own thing.

Does said girl live with you or nah? That changed for me when we moved in together. We both get enough of each other when we happen to have vacation together, we know after three days it’s time to go do errands alone.

yeah we live together. Vacation and anything outside the crib I prefer to do with her. I’m just up and active and I want to enjoy her company and engage in convo etc. at home I just really don’t wanna be bothered at all.
I think it’s because I’m so busy that I associated home with rest, recovery, and unplugging.

i go out alone almost exclusively
concerts, bars, clubs, conventions, comedy shows, functions, etc. i went to 22 live, ticketed shows last year and for 16 of them I was solo.
it's just easier for me. i go whenever I want, to wherever I want, do whatever I want while I'm there, and leave whenever I want. i value that

back when I was in school...Homework. I don't know how people did group work or studied together or even went to a Starbucks/Barnes and Noble/Borders to do that stuff. I needed Bruce Wayne in the bat cave like atmosphere.
