It seems like you aren't even ready to have sex or handle the responsibility of having sex. Because if you were you wouldn't be having a scare. You and your gf should have already disscused if you guys want to be parents now, if it's a no then you should be using some form of brith control. And in case of those times when something doesn't go right she should get the morning after pill. And she should know her cycle and know when to avoid having unprotected sex on the days she is ovulating. If you were doing all these things you wouldn't be having a pregnancy scare.

I'm a Sophmore in college. I don't want kids any time soon. Not all girls are on BC, and I'm sick of these scares.
This one was extremely %#%*#% bc homegirl really thought she was pregnant.
She had symptoms, she had a dream she was preggers, and her pops was telling her every time she left the house "Don't get pregnant!"
I care about this girl , and I had to look her dead in the face and talk about abortion. I'm not about that life.

I asked to get opinions because I was THINKING about doing it, but I got lambasted by you muggles

It's ridiculous that you're even considering this for a short term BC option - that's just crazy.
It's not even like people are saying that it's not always reversible - it's usually not reversible. I went to see about one recently (I'm a but older than you and have 3 kids) and they lay it on pretty thick that if you're even slightly unsure about wanting more kids in the future then you shouldn't do it as it is basically an irreversible procedure.
