Correct me if i'm wrong, but I didn't read anything about any kind of violence.  All I see is that he was lookin' for the BM. AND he was drunk.

Just seems like a situation that really could happen to anyone.  Dude coulda been hella on and got some bad news that she wasn't tryin' to tell him.  I'm sure we all understand just how crazy a woman can drive a man, especially if there's seeds involved.

And it's not like his crime was any sort of premeditated self serving act.  I'm not trying to justify his actions by any means, I just don't feel that given the small fraction of the story that we have, that he should be treated like a
