Thoughts on the confederate flag

Do whatever you want Nomad, but I seriously suggest you seek professional help. Again, I don't mean that in an offensive way. You're having a public meltdown on an internet forum, fabricating lies about a person you've never met.

Take some time off the internet to calm down or consult a psychologist to help with whatever issues you're having.

And for the record I don't bring up Ninja's housing. I don't think it's relevant. I've lived in poverty too so I'm not clowning anyone's housing situation.

When I say Ninja lives in a bubble I'm not talking about his actual house. Assuming you're an adult I'm sure you know what the expression "living in a bubble" means.

Go ahead. Quote a post of me mocking Ninja's housing situation.

I can tell ninja has never experienced real racism.

Cuz "real racism"(da jim crow, burnin crosses, sheriff is da neighborhood klan leader, Lynchin, fire hoses, segregation, illegal interracial relationships, nobody allowed to read books, etc.) Is dead.

If your idea of "soul crushing Racism" is a bunch of losers on Stormfront then ya already proved my point. :lol

Gone head and ignore the rest of my post. I know and anybody else in this thread with a brain knows you have no answer for how democrats made Ferguson PD do all of that stuff just for da political gains.

I can tell ninja has never experienced real racism.

So the democrats made the Ferguson police department send racist emails to one another?

Dems made those cops routinely violate the rights of Black people living there?

If a whole police department is corrupt is that not Systematic white supremacy?

You constantly ignore/outright deny systematic racism or blame the people that have their rights infringed upon.

The laissez-faire way you treat this topic, I'm not sure if you would believe it to be true if it actually happened to you or someone in your family.

"Nah man I/you must have did something wrong." "I/you shouldn't have been outside."

"They probably thought I/you was doing something wrong at this time of day/night."

Ignoring the problem won't make it go away.

Chalking it up to democratic political gains is wrong on so many levels.

I think the fact that certain organizations/people use the flag worldwide in place of the nazi swastika is very telling.

Im sure a lot of people flying it may very well be good ol country folk but you cant deny the history of it and now it has a stigma to it.

Everybody should share some of their personal experiences with people who proudly wear, dsiplay, fly, wave etc. this flag.

I'll start.

In high school a chick that lived at the end of my block had a stars and bars phone case.

You wanna know what her parents called Martin Luther King Day?

Dead N_ Day

I guess da dems stop paying them to be racist and that's why they lost their house and had to move. >D

All part of the democratic plan

It's just a symbol man. Like the KKK hood and robes.

It all depends on what it means to you :lol

Symbols mean w/e people ascribe to it, hence why a flag wit stars & stripes can mean so many things to so many people.

ESPN covered da draft Fiasco and da flag controversy....where was this under current of rage when that dorm video dropped?

Its called selective outrage.

And as for real racism...if it only exist on a obscure message board, then we're in a great place.

You should book a trip outside of NYC sometime in your lifetime b :lol

you can call a symbol what you want to call it but it doesn't change the history of it.

also Ole Miss been catching flack for Colonel Rebel for years, that's why the mascot is now Rebel, The Black Bear.

you can't call it selective because YOU just heard about it, that's called uninformed.

That symbols are what you make it argument is weak, and a bit contradictory. That's just an insensitive deflection, that translates into "Well, doesn't bother me so it shouldn't bother you". I can't walk around my work place with my middle finger up and tell people it means hello.

What does even mean though? What do people want with that type of response? Doesn't it represent a negative symbol to many? So basically ignore them?

I DO all da time.... :lol its called, we not in da civil war era, we not even in da civil rights era... believe it or not, MLK's Dreams of a post racial society ACTUALLY exists in enclaves in da United States :eek
In another few decades, racism will eventually be relegated to da dust bin of society.

"Ninjahood is a one stop shop of ignorance for all matters of importance."

-A NTer that deserves infinite reps.

Cant stand that clown.

:lol maybe you need to re-evaluate yourself if you letting my personal opinion & experience with my indifference towards my lack of racial encounters affect your day, cuz believe you me..i dont even know you to care what you think about me duke >D

"You can't please everyone" if people are adamant about flying a historical flag for W/E reason...and its protected by free speech, and in some states, its very much da state flag because da citizens want it up there...what u gonna do?

If folks wanna pay homage to da losing team, let em...da point is they lost.

If people are so adamant about flying that flag they are proud of all the atrocities that flag represents.
That is the only point that matters here.
You claiming signs can mean whatever the person wants it to mean is not how symbols work.
It's not abstract art open for interpretation.

Of course it is...hello, Da dukes of Hazzard had a LONG tv series & movie with NO problems with that flag on da top of da general lee Charger.

Symbols dont resonate da same with everybody.
