BBC America is gonna be airing his entire run from "Parting of the Ways" to "End of Time Pt. II" for two whole days straight so we'respoiled for Ten. Plus he might be getting a show on NBC next year if all goes well.

You and skillzboy reminded me of something I failed to consider: While we live in the present as we know it, everything we observe from ourvantage point in the universe is already null and void, since it happened in the past. Stars have already died, and while they may shine to us, are so faraway that we only think they are alive because we are seeing their past forms after the fact.Originally Posted by Nothin4ever
Well we already know
when we look at the sun we are looking at it 8 minutes in the past
and when we look at the universe / galaxy's
we are seeing the past of it
and cant crasp what it would look like now ..infact the planet could of been blown up 2 weeks ago
but we seeing it as it was before
so if we was far way deep in the universe
and can look thru a scope
back at earth
we can view it from the past ..and the more far away the more past away it was
....that one way of time travel...well time viewing
time travel is something a few alien races know bout ..i'll try to ask em for yall
There's always some lame that has to bring this to the party.Originally Posted by Ryda421

No because the present time you were living in before and up to the point where the time machine was invented would already be impacted by youtraveling back in time. Nothing you did would change anything because it had already happened. To actually change anything in time you would have to travelto infinity into the past.Originally Posted by milestailsprowe
If time travel was possible. The time machine would be the GREATEST weapon possible because you can fix all your mistakes and hurt alot of people. I mean if a leader you wanted dead came around all you have to do is push his mom down the stairs when she was pregnant.
i hate how this makes soo much senseOriginally Posted by ninjallamafromhell

I think you're mistaking relativity with time travel.Originally Posted by recycledpaper

look up at the stars... some of them are no longer there. the light you are seeing is actually more than a million years old. that means that the actual image produced by that light, if viewable to the naked eye, is essentially the same as looking into the past of that star's life.
hope that made sense.
how so?Originally Posted by ninjallamafromhell
