# 10: Big Pun ‘You aint a Killer’ 1998 (1st verse)
“One of the last livin’ still in action, general assassin/Catchin’ any wreck, blastin’ any tech/Smashin any chest, passin any test, Charles Manson in the flesh/Any last requests before you meet your maker?/Sew what you reap and wake up, shakin up a storm like Anita Baker.

Personally, I'd take Bis' verse from "Fantastic Four" over this one.

Aside from that I ain't mad at a single verse on that list.

"I bomb atomically, Socrates’ philosophies and hypothesis can’t define how I be droppin these mockeries/lyrically perform armed robbery/Flee with the lottery, possibly they spotted me/Battle-scarred shogun, explosion when my pen hits/tremendous, ultra-violet shine blind forensics/I inspect you, through the future see millennium"

Not a week goes by that I don't think of these lyrics at least once.

Wow... that's a really really solid list...

I know most are going to dismiss it because Canibus is number one, but that verse was on another level when I heard it and in his prime nobody was seeing that dude... had mad rappers scared to jump on a song with him I remember lol.

I believe that's the verse that Canibus spit that went something like... "I been rocking longer than N's twice my age, before Bob Marley was rocking a fade, before Neanderthals were drawing on walls and caves..." I always said that was once of the sickest verses ever bar none.

Good list though!

# 4. Inspectah Deck – Triumph (1997) (1st verse)
I bomb atomically, Socrates’ philosophies and hypothesis can’t define how I be droppin these mockeries/lyrically perform armed robbery/Flee with the lottery, possibly they spotted me/Battle-scarred shogun, explosion when my pen hits/tremendous, ultra-violet shine blind forensics/I inspect you, through the future see millennium

Dat right there got me boppin my head

Definitely a top 20 verse... hell maybe even top 15, but I'm not mad at that list at all.

And of course this verse from "Holocaust" on RZA as Bobby Digital "In Stereo"

Had to correct that last verse from a copy and paste... I know that one by heart.

Don't care for the Canibus verse or that particular Redman verse but good list otherwise.

Can't be mad at that list but mine would have to have to have CL Smooth's first verse off TROY and Chuck D's second verse off Bring the NoiseEDIT: and Big Daddy Kane's verse off The Symphony

wow immortal tech. the prophecy
I calculate planet alignment like Mayan astronomy
Discovering atrocities worst than Aristotle
Subjecting children to sodomy
Your theory of the galaxy is primitive like telome
The truth about the universe stuck up like Aztec pottery
Unpredictable results like experimental psychology
I stomp the streets with emcee's beneath my feet in colonies
But presentation and spirit revolve around autonomy
Searching for monogamy
And cutting fake @@!%%+% out of my mind like a lobotomy
