***Transformers 2:Revenge Of The Fallen***

I need to stay outta this thread until I watch the movie.

Hopefully that will be soon.

AS I SAID IF YOU DIDNT SEE IT IN IMAX YOU DIDNT SEE THE MOVIE

ya who live in the middle of nowhere with no imax theater in reasonable distance

feel bad

I liked it...the twins were a bit too much and they need to add more Autobots into the movie, but otherwise it was very entertaining

People are soo hypersensitive its ridiculous. The 2 robots was funny as hell.......and like they said, the robots uploaded all the mannerisms from theinternet..........AND THATS EXACTLY HOW THEY ACT!!!!!!!!!!!! Weather people think its racist or stereotypical or not.....THATS HOW PEOPLE TALK/ACT THESEDAYS!!!!!!!

I bet i wouldnt see anyone *****ing ane moaning if they were portrayed as airhead skaeboard riders or something.....people are just plain stupid sometimes.

QFT...however, I think my experience with these movies is more special compared to the casual movie folks because I'm familiar with themythology.

Alot don't care about that stuff though, people are watching this just due to the fact that certain actors are in it, michael bay directing it or becauseof its status of being a huge summer blockbuster.

EDIT: IMAX was soo worth it

I wasnt impressed at all really. The last 30 mins to me felt like an eternity.... I was bored outta my mind personally.

I LOVED the first one... but IDK... I'm not going to complain that it was too long, since 3 recent movies come to memory that were very long that I enjoyedthoroughly... (TDK, Watchmen, and Benjamin Button)

But I was just BORED

I Was also kind of disappointed with the lack of use of the Imax cameras, thought it'd be used a bit more than it was.

Honestly how many people watch and remember the cartoon? be honest.......because if you did I think youd be over joyed that they didnt do what most mosie doand go TOTALLY away from the roots or the cartoon

Movie was Good. Better than I expected.

It really did not feel like 2 and a half hours. The action, the comedy it did it all for me.

The Sam and the primes scene and Optimus getting the old guys parts were a little cheesy, but overall it was damn good.

And I really have never given Megan Fox enough credit. Girl is gorgeous, i am a believer now.

Ya, I think movie would be boring without the twins. Gotta have humor in it. Some people are just so sensitive. There are hundreds of movies out there with aline or two that can be interpreted as racist or stereotypical. Critics just had to pick this one. I'll probably watch it 2 more times in the theaters.

I do wish that the movie had better Autobot vehicles, GM was just advertising these crappy little cars. It would have been nice if Sideswipe was a RedLamborghini with his twins Sunstreaker and Red Alert or bring in Hound as a Jeep or a Humvee. I'd see F-16s and I'd think man is that Skydive about toTransform, or the A-10 flying by could be Powerglide, and seeing that Huey hovering over Shia's lifeless body was really Protectobot Blades.

jus got back from seeing it, in IMAX...
i actually liked it better than the 1st
seeing all that action on the big *** imax screen was amazing

cosign!!

I liked the movie brought back memories when Optimus Died in the cartoon version, made me guessing if Rodimus Prime will come out as the new leader of theAutobots. I wonder will there be a third sequel? I was hopping to see some teaser at the end of the credits.

The action was amazing.

I could do without the twins and the humor was ehhhh, some scenes were completely unnecessary and the story was whatever.

This trilogy could be SO MUCH MORE, but its whatever I was still entertained.

I <3'd it .

Joint was paaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacked , mad long lines & everything .

I cried when ... you know .

Michael Bay Makes Porn.
by Hagrid1
Jun 24th, 2009
01:24:47 AM

You'll be hearing a lot of negative things about Giant F-ing Robots Part Deux. It's not that what the critics are saying are entirely wrong. For the most part, I agree with a huge chunk of what's been said. But I think people are missing the point about Michael Bay and his Bayhem. Because Michael Bay does not make movies. Michael Bay makes porn. In the seventies, people thought how revolutionary it would be to film a story where once you cut to the love scenes, you would actually see people having sex. This is like the golden age of the seventies in film where you have Coppola, Scorsese, Spielberg, Friedkin, Lucas (before the dark times), and so forth. But you know what? How many individuals actually sit through the story of the porn movie thinking "oh gosh, I can't wait till these two get it on, I'm in SUCH suspense?" No one. We fast forward to the good parts. Then in the eighties, videotape ruined that. Less story, more porn. Now in the age of DVD and BLU-RAY... no story, all porn. For example, a man in a suit enters a house for a business meeting with his partner. The partner isn't there, but his wife - dressed in slutty lingerie at 2 in the afternoon - is there to greet him. The man in the suit says "great - I confirmed this meeting three times. NOW what am I gonna do?" And then slutty lingerie wife offers him options. BAM! Cut to the love scene. One and a half minutes of story followed by twenty minutes of gymnastic sexual antics. So what Michael Bay does is make modern day blockbusters following the formula of modern day porn. Skip the story, and get right to the reason we hit 'yes' on our On Demand. Sometimes, you're just not in the mood for a story that changes the way you see the world. You just want some porn. You want The Rock or Armageddon. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is like Giant Robot Porn. We don't really care how we see big robots fighting, because that's inherently just silly. Kind of like when a hot blond girl in a short skirt who says she's over 18 can't wait to get at a man in his forties who oozes Axe Body Spray. It's just silly. But we don't care. We just want to see big robots fighting. We want to see Godzilla smash some $##%. So give us about ten to twenty minutes of story (which is what T:ROTF gives us) and then give us 2 hours of insane over-the-top-ludicrous-action- that-we-know-can't-possibly-be -realistic-and-doesn't-make-se nse-but-who-gives-a-crap-it's- fun-as-hell-to-watch. He basically skips the setup and gets right to the good stuff. Which is what porn does best. So I had a total blast watching T:ROTF. The audience laughed and clapped a hell of a lot at the end. I sat next to four black women who were on the edge of their seat and laughing at all the stuff with the Twins. Judging by those lines I saw, I expect the rest of America will be figuring it out for themselves this week. Now imagine if Michael Bay made an honest-to-goodness porn. (Or with all this remake madness - what abot a remake of SHOWGIRLS? AND on IMAX?) Now that'll be worth $14 dollars...

You were bored? Not enough bangs and explosions for you? Or your the type that likes to watch dialogue for 2+ hours?

Benjamin Button? Now thats a movie that dragged on.

Seen this movie earlier today...

Sad to say, but it was buttcheeks...

Out of a possible 5 I'll give this movie a 2-2.5/5...

It was so cheesy, predictable, and long for no reason...

It was mad cliche...

Wait until it hits DVD or On Demand...

Just got back from a showing, I agree it wasn't better then the first, but it kept me very entertained. Like a lot of people said, the last 30 minutes tookforever though

I'd give it an 8.5/10 based on the action and comedy, but really no story development, and what was going on when they were fighting. All I saw were big@#$% robots on the screen fighting and couldn't tell who was who.

Edit: And Soundwave and devastator doing absolutely nothing in the film but chilling in space and climbing a damn pyramid
