Truth about facebook video

There's a reason Facebook is becoming more public as it evolves.

Man, I been trying to put NT on information like this on a larger scale. The type of information they gather about you isnt always what you would consider"important information." They could be collecting things like weather or not you went to see a movie or if you ever dated this or that person. Itdoesnt sound really important, but on a larger scale of things, that is information that can be used to completely track your life down to every last detail. And what would that be used for? If you only knew... Look at the big picture...

the IAO doesnt need facebook to gather all that information and because two people served on the same board together doesn't make the companies affiliated.this is stupid. Its common knowledge that facebook uses the information you post. I learned nothing usefull. Expect that the rich people inpower are a smallgroup of people circle jerking each other.

but raelly now, it's not becaus e of a conspiracy theory. It's more about how Facebook wants/needs to make money. Their whole goal is tomonetize all this data and sell targeted ads that are extremely granular. Google's already been doing it and they don't need you to give you theinformation (..at least directly) for them to do it.

And then what? If "they" want to get you "they" will. It's all just a matter of when & where.

If someone knew every small detail about your life, how easy would it be to predict what you are going to do next, or even what you're thinking about whenyou see a certain image? I'm not going to go into small details, because I find that argueing stuff like this is often useless, but "do your ownresearch and then form your own opinion about our government and society" is the best advice I can give you.

And you're right. "The more you know, the more you know that you dont know anything."

You mean...targeted advertisements? Honestly, ANYTHING you put on Facebook you did so willingly, for the most part(besides tagged pictures). You chose to putwhat music you like, movies, sports, etc. Other than targeted advertisements, you still haven't explained to me "this picture." What exactly isthe man going to do with a video of me chugging a pitcher of beer? Enslave me?

If you're on the internet "They are watching" period. Everything that we do leaves a trail; credit cards, internet, etc. We would drive ourselvescrazy trying to "censor" what we don't want the powers that be to know. I say, only provide information that you are comfortable with.

They ca only share whatever you are willing to share, so therefore I am good.

You're trying to make me "the crazy cult following weirdo with the tin foil on top of his head" when all I'm really doing is just trying tolook out for people. Have you ever seen the Wire? Think abou that but on a much larger scale with a bigger purpose.

"Ok, so if there's this 'much bigger purpose' then what is it, since you KNOW IT ALL?!?!

"

I'm not claiming to know it all or even know exactly what the purpose is. All I'm doing is encouraging people to think beyond what is normal and lookout for themselves.

Like the government really needs fbook to find out all of our info...just makes it easier!

Honestly it's all about creating a formula ... that better predicts actions and impulses .... while taking into account minute differences ...... the bestway to do so is simply collecting a large amount of data regardless how insignificant the individual might believe it too be ...
.
.
It all breaks down too how can I get you to do what I want you to do without you knowing it ...... meaning how best to limit one's choices without thatperson ever realizing what I'm doing .... so the outcome could best serve me ...... who that ME is .. is up for debate ... as well as the purpose this allserves in the end

You do that pretty well by yourself. I don't think he was trying to help at all.
