Tupac Shakur dumped Madonna because she was white.

Yall got me in here listening to No Way Out
smokin.gif
That Bad Boy Can't Stop Won't Stop doc got me revisiting all the 96-00 Bad Boy releases.

That part where they go through all the hits and successes he had in a row is so dope.

I bet you do lol

Only song i bump from mases first album is take whats yours.

Ready to die is much better than those 2 albums.

It took me years to listen to a Mase album.

I play Makaveli, All Eyez On Me, R U Still Down, Until the End of Time and Me Against the World all the time.

I can't, he had way too much filler on his albums. And people talk about Nas' production, but Pac had some garbage production.

Life Story

Child of the Ghetto

Life After Death

best Bad Boy albums along with Shyne and Faith

Ready to Die is easily the best album to come out of Bad Boy

Life After Death

To the "fake thug" claims on Pac, I like MC Eiht's perspective.

13:20

The whole clip is worth a listen, but those last 10 minutes were straight facts.

homie sounds like he permanently holdin in blunt smoke

Me Against The World is def #1 for me

Man that last verse on Me Against The World...could play that over and over again

"With all this extra stressin
The question I wonder is after death, after my last breath
When will I finally get to rest through this oppression?
They punish the people thats askin questions
And those that possess steal from the ones without possessions
The message I stress: to make it stop, study your lessons
Dont settle for less, even the genius asks his questions
Be grateful for blessings
Dont ever change, keep your essence
The power is in the people and politics we address
Always do your best, dont let the pressure make you panic
And when you get stranded
And things dont go the way you planned it
Dreamin of riches, in a position of makin a difference
Politicians are hypocrites, they dont wanna listen
If Im insane, its the fame made a brother change
It wasnt nothin like the game; its just me against the world"

Top 5 Pac Song

Yall are trippin hard.MATW is up there. But Makavali is timeless.Never skipped a track on that album. He touched on all subject matters of what he was going through.Plus it had more of a raw street sound to it.Thats probably because 2pac and the Outlaws recorded it in the mindframe of it releasing as a mixtape at first. But the crazy part about that album. Is that it wasnt weak enough to be released as a mixtape.Even though it had a rough feel to it.It wasnt filtered (watered down for a commercial release).

They said Suge heard the album. And told them that it sounded so good that they where going to release it commercially.Makavali wasnt recorded to be released nationwide in stores. It was mixtape made by Pac to introduce the Outlaws.Thats why the Outlaws are featured heavily on it.It was suppose to be released in swapmeets/bazaars/Mom &Pop music stores that sold mixtapes back then.

Yes you had to know where mixtapes where sold back then.Because they werent sold in regular stores. No internet back then either. But Pac being Pac.It came out epic. They said Suge told Pac to make a whole album of him dissing people.Nothing else.He even used non famous up and coming producers for that album. For the biggest Rap Star to do that back then was un heard of.Sometimes its not about the Big label funding and putting together a classic.Makavali shows that.Pac just wanted to put his homies on.

The effort they put into it wasnt suppose to happen.Think about it.Outlaws werent polished at all.EDI said they where still learning song structure back then.Young Noble had been writing. But never recorded. Then he ends up on Hail Mary.Pac just had that touch around that time. Some people say they took 3 days to make it,some say 7 days.Which is crazy.Him dying gave it more attention. But AEOM and Makavali aged like no other. They have to be top 1-10 best aged Rap albums in History. Both of Bigs albums aged well also.

Just got finished watching The Defiant Season 1.I only watched Episode 3.Because they talk about the rise and fall of Death Row.What tripped me out.Is the footage of Pac walking away from Suge,Bountry, and Trey.Theyve always showed that footage of Pac with the Gold Shirt. But they show more of that footage on this documentary than ive ever seen.Everytime the footage is shown on YouTube or regular TV.Hes walking around Suge and the kid with his hands up in front of the camera. Then hes hollering and joking with everyone around him.

But on the Deviant version. They let the footage play out more.Instead of it stopping.Looks like they have more footage showing what leads up to the Orlando fight.Seems like Pac was on one that night. While Suge was laid back not caring. On this version. After Pac is running around clowning/joking.He stops for 3 to 5 seconds.Hes looking directly at someone aggressive.Hes just looking. Not saying anything. He starts walking away from Suge and company quickly towards either Orlando or to someone else.

But hes looking aggressive.Hes talking towards somebody when he walking to them.Suge is shouting at him when he takes off.The cut the rest of and show the MGM grainy camera footage they always show us.Im thinking they have actual clear footage of the entire situation unfolding. But out of respect for everything that happened. There not releasing it.Does anyone know who was filming Pac and Suge and Death Row.Its the same footage weve all seen. But on The Deviant. Its an extended version before the altercation that ive never seen.

After putting 2 and 2 together.Everything is adding up now.The L.A. gang unit guys that have been interviewed on Vladtv.Said the Death Row entourage had gotten in shoving/arguing match with the Crips in the same building earlier that day before the fight. So it makes sense now for a multitude of reasons.Theres footage of Pac walking around earlier that day in the same casino looking mad and stressed.

Thats might be around the time they had the shoving match. Then it makes sense in the Deifiant extended footage.Hes running up on someone talking aggressive with Suge and Co running behind him.Thats some good footage.Wonder if Interscope got it from whomever was filming. It has to be more of it we haven't seen for sure.

Pac > big and its not even close

Both are legends though

I dont know how rap fans can say anything negative about them as previously stated in this thread those dudes completed more in there early 20s than alot of dudes will in their lifetime..for Pacs name to still ring off 20 years later and for there to still be controversy around him is a testament to how great of a person he was

Biggie was a dope rapper but you would think he put out 10 classic albums before he died the way people talk about him.

You gotta be born after 96.

Pac didnt know they were off duty, he thought they where regular white cats beating up a young black dude so he jumped in it. Do your research.

He beat up a hughes brother over a movie script.

He was trying so god dam hard to be MOB and live the life.

And it dont take a idiot to realize you can have a voice without being gang affiliated. He was speaking the truth and touching ****** hearts BEFORE he even came out with all that thug life ****.

Go sip some similiac somewhere.
MOB for him=Money over ******* and also I was born in '95. Doesn't matter if he knew or didn't about the off duty situation, I know why he beat up one of the Hughs brothers, and Thug Life means The Hate U Give Little Infants ***** Everyone. Just goes to show you know nothing about Pac and are just going on things people have told you.

Stopped reading after this
