Twilight Zone appreciation

love the show. one day i will budge and buy the dvd's.
everyone has at least one favorite. I like the one with the plastic surgery to make her "beautiful" or the one with the loner guy that finally hasall the time in the world to read and then breaks his glasses.

LOVE this show! I have to buy the DVD set ASAP.

I always watch a couple of episodes when they run holiday marathons.

Much appreciated.

I think I've seen every episode between 1959-1964 at least twice

word. whenever I flip through channels and it's on, it stays on that channel. even with my short attn-span

One of the greatest Sci Fi and tv series of all time.

I remember watching the marathon and the joint with Captain Kirk on the plane being the only guy seeing the wookie on the wing tearing that shhh up and hepulled the emergency window door open

I was shook off of that and yet wasstill unusually addicted to it. The other classic with the living dummy. The one where mad shh was outlawed and dude chose death by exploding his room andpunked once of the dudes who was just another pompous prick.

This show inspired so many tv shows and movies man it's crazy. I've probably seen every ep

I aint good with titles but the one where the dude finally had time to read after mankind got wiped out and he broke his glasses, the one where homey couldread minds for a day cuz of the quarter landing on its edge, the one where the dude set the devil free and had to catch him, the one with the old guy makinighis family wear those ugly masks and it ended up merging to their faces, the one where the 5 ppl were stuck in a "room" and didn't know why andcome to find out they're dolls, etc. I could go on for days.

Right now they aint doing it right. They need to get my dude Abbadon a.k.a. Lance to host the show. They need to start getting on their writing steez insteadof remaking classics like idiots.

If it aint Black & white you're bugging.

I mess with Outer Limits too, caught some of the marathon today.

BTW, my favs from old school:

Eye of the Beholder
Next Stop Willoughby
and the black and white version of the thing on the plane wing

Anyone watch the latest two episodes?

Im very impressed

Finally a good episode.

****** up like crazy though. Had to basically take the underground railroad just to get your kid to college safely.

Sanaa, Damson, Steve, and Glenn were all great. Dude played a real menacing cop. Crazy how he's always cast as the creep or villain, too good at it. Sanaa barking on those cops guns drawn can only happen in fiction.

I see Peele was just biding his time with the first two eps before he got back in his wheelhouse :pimp:

New twilight zone seems like some weak tales from the crypt/ goosebumps.
Comedian episode was trash
30,000 feet was decent
Replay was mad corny with a trying too hard to push a message.
Been a twilight fan so willing to give this season a chance. This Peele dude is starting to look like a M Night Shamala type

Somebody tell me if I missed something cuz there seemed to be nothing to that Traveler ep.

Just a regular old twist of him not working for the Russians but just actually being an alien who was rolling with more that were about to invade. Nothing else to it.

This Peele dude is starting to look like a M Night Shamala type
Bugging.

M. Night has several horrible movies with the same gimmick for all his movies.

Peele hosts and exec produces this new Twilight Zone. Fam aint writing and directing it.

Plus he developed it with Simon Kinberg.

nah that replay ep was good

i think the point of glenns ep ws just that people will believe whatever benefits them

My favorite so far was probably Nightmare at 30,000 feet.

I like how this show has been cast so far too. Cool to see Steven Yeun get a look like that. He does creepy really well. Saw him in Burning (Korean film) and was kind of blown away by how good he was.

I don't think I've been able to completely fall into an episode the way I did with the classics from the OG, but all the pieces seem to fit nicely. I initially thought Peele's intros and outros would be corny, but he does them pretty well.

That Wunderkind ep was a straight up shot@ Donald Trump

Ignored a lot to hammer their slippery slope point. I mean the Anerican president is not a king.

No old doctors
