Vacationing solo

as soon as I finish my M.A. (may 2011) I'm planning on going to Trinidad or Europe...

after reading this thread i think I'd love to go on a vacation solo.

I'd love to just spend 2 weeks in Spain drunk/high the entire time, just doing whatever popped into my head.

I'd only vacation solo if I knew where to get drugs and I knew that it was safe for me to get the drugs from that person without getting robbed/killed b/c I'll be alone.

I can do a weekend somewhere just me to clear my head but I can't take a whole vacation alone. Some of you sound a little anti-social or have some %#%%#+ friends. These people are my friends because I enjoy their company, they wouldn't be my friends otherwise.

Traveling with closed-minded/high-maintenance people is unappreciated. I haven't taken a solo trip yet, but I'm planning one. I don't mind walking around a city for a whole day and just taking all the sights in. A lot of friends and family are quite the opposite. Their idea of a vacation is staying at a resort, but I'd rather acquire some new experiences. The world is so big, and you're wasting your time if you go to Tokyo to eat McDonalds or Africa to eat pancakes. Enjoy the local culture and do what you want to do.

Nothing wrong with it. You don't have to wait on people, listen to people complaining, you get to do what you want to do when you want to do it and have the vacation that YOU want, not them. Its a great experience do it.
