yeah im going to post a similar thread on thursday, im going out there next sunday. the trip is gonna be fun in a real way. i've been recruiting themyspace jumpoffs from manhattan, the bronx, brooklyn, and queens. i got family all over the city, 2 of my boys are making the flight out there with me, plus i know my way around the city already. it just sucks because i have no clue what night spots to hit up since this is my first time out there for along time since i've been over 21.

the regional fourms are deader then a doorknob, im sure the socal and northeast ones get people posting in them every now and then but the rest of them seemdead to me.

As for this thread, you should check to see if you're interested in any of the performances at any of these places:

Highline Ballroom
Webster Hall
Central Park
Roseland Ballroom
Madison Square Garden
Prospect Park
Hammerstein Ballroom

Free concerts are sometimes held at Webster Hall and Central Park. They're more frequent at Central Park. Just check their websites.

You might want to check out some Broadway plays or visit the Statue of Liberty, as well.

The DMV regional forum seems to be the most active. The NE regional seems to have the least activity. I just don't see why threads like thisshould be locked.

thanks for the help, yeah my brother was talking about webster hall he went there last year.

truthfully i'm not trying to do much of the tourist stuff because my mom took me to all that stuff tons of times when i was little kid but ill probably endup doing alot of the tourist stuff, attractions museums etc because one of my friends thats comming with me has never been to new york so it would only beright for me to show him all that stuff.

but yeah whoever helps me out, good lookin out and if you ever come to LA and you need help finding spots/ places to go just let me know and ill help you out.
