Not in stores. Some carriers shipped them out already. I'm waiting to get it cause the first batch always has problems I feel like and I want to see the colors in person. Which color does your coworker have? And can you take a picture of it and compare the band color? I'm getting conflicting information about the colors from HTC and AT&T.

HTC: Gunmetal has a black band. Gold on silver has a silver front.
AT&T: Gunmetal is gunmetal throughout, no different in band. Gold on silver has a slight gold tint on the front.

The G4 is set to be announced on the 28th which probably means another month before it comes out. Don't know how long i can go without a phone but also dont want to settle on the M9 if the G4 is much better. Not a fan of the S6

I saw the black 6 and edge today. joints are beautiful. I think the edge should've been the only one released or at least dropped first and dropped a traditional build at a later date under a different name.

I'd say wait 2 weeks for the announcement and if you don't like what you see go for the M9. Plus, that's time to get some opinions from people who've purchased and used the M9 for two weeks.

Messed around with both S6's yesterday at a T-Mobile store. They had a Gold Plat one on display and said they SHOULD have them in when they release on the 10th but they arent available for preorder. The Edge just didnt do it for me. Gold 64gb S6 it is.

just updated my m7 yesterday OTA. looks like im on android 5.0.2... and i hate it. I instantly regretted doing it. I almost came late to work because the alarm didn't go off for the first time. Instead of the alarm going off, it just vibrated. I woke up 20 minutes late cuz of that crap. all the settings (which havent been changed) should've allowed it to ring altho it was on vibrate. when i connected it to my computer yesterday, i couldn't see any of the important folders. I wanted to add music but the music and videos and DCIM and 100media etc etc folders were all missing. All i could see was Vine, AfterFocus camera app, and other stupid empty folders. 

I hate my lockscreen and can't figure out how to change it. I set the power-toggle to NOT show on lockscreen but it wont go away 

 notifications taking up the whole screen. i just really hate this. now that i see (thanks to yall) that the s6 demos are out. im gonna find one and see if thats the next move. never copping another htc again like i said a year ago, and im sticking to that.

i havent read anything from the verge in a while but this is incredible.... 3 sentences in and theres an apple reference. not even 3 paragraphs in, and apple has been mentioned 4 times. wow....

edit: according to a quick search, this review of the samsung galaxy s6... mentions the iphone or apple 26 times. 26.... never again will i read verge, they clearly write biased articles

Sometime in the past year, the bar for what makes a good smartphone got raised. It has to look good, it has to have a great screen, it has to last all day, it has to have elegant software, and most of all it has to have a really good camera. Miss one of those marks, and you haven’t just failed, you’ve probably lost a customer for years. (Just ask HTC in six months.)

.  You are going to have to go in and change some settings, as alot has changed in Android 5.0 regarding alerts and notifications.   And there is also encryption on the storage in Lollipop.  These arent HTC Sense features, these are Google implemented features.

The Verge is one of the worst sites to go to if you want a clean-cut, non biased review.  Especially for any Android device lol

.  You are going to have to go in and change some settings, as alot has changed in Android 5.0 regarding alerts and notifications.   And there is also encryption on the storage in Lollipop.  These arent HTC Sense features, these are Google implemented features.

i got most of it nailed down that i wanted to change but it WASNT easy. and i got my folders to show up as well which was actually flat out difficult. I'm not even sure what got it to work per se. I dont think the encryption was hurting my storage cuz it was doing this BEFORE i updated to lolli. is there a way to change the color of the notifications without skinning or theming etc etc? I really dont like the grayish white they got on here. and it seems like an all or nothing or notifications for the lock screen

Yeah the Verge is good. I trust PocketNow and android authority more though with anandtech at the top.

It was a decent review..he could have toned down the apple and iPhone in there.. I understand that's their biggest comp but he went over the top with it the end rating surprised me.

The camera and battery was rated lower than the regular i6 I have a hard time believing that. It was done so the S6 wouldn't have a higher overall rating most likely

Anandtech is the review I really want to see..even though the phone is already ordered. I like their reviews.

Obviously I haven't used it (S6)but I would bet that the i6 camera is better on a consistent basis.

I'm sorry but iOS image processing is hard to beat. But I am willing to take a look for myself.
