Discovered this new track today from one of my reggae mainstays, and I've had it on repeat all afternoon.

Can somebody tell me the difference between Soca and Afrobeats? Is it a tempo thing ?

There is a significant difference between the two. First being that they are two separate genres. Content matter as well. Sometimes afro beats producers borrow from it to build their riddims.
