Yeah but then every mutant would have it. So any old *** looking mutants would have to get a new look like Cable.

Nobody should have gray hair unless it’s power related.

Plus there’s a sameness there they’d want to avoid with everyone being like Wolverine in that way.

While it's true it could be updated, the drive behind Magnus was based on the atrocity he suffered in the holocaust. Changing that up would be enh however considering it was over 75 years ago, it can be updated to something on a more political climate.

Or we can remember this is a comic book movie and just keep the og history and let it play out.

Holland's SM basically popped outta nowhere for Civil War. They can possibly do something different with the MCU version of X and Magneto.

Yeah, I’ve seen suggestions even in here but changing that origin to some other genocidal event in history is unlikely. Once it was done Marvel firmly rooted Magneto as a holocaust survivor

'Avengers: Doomsday' Runtime Revealed, Premium Tickets on Sale Next Week​

Disney will open premium ticket sales for Avengers: Doomsday next week, a full five months before the film’s release. The ticket plan, seen by The Hollywood Reporter, includes the film’s possible runtime.

Domestic tickets for Infinity Vision theaters will go on sale July 20. The film will be in theaters on December 18.

Disney announced Infinity Vision, a premium large format theater certification, earlier this year. They will also offer Infinity Vision tickets for a re-release of Avengers: Endgame in September.

The runtime in the plan is 165 minutes or two hours and 45 minutes. This is subject to change but not by much since they’re already selling tickets.

Assuming it stays around that number, Doomsday will be longer than Infinity War (149 minutes) and shorter than Endgame (181 minutes).

A little too complicated.

The soft reboot may result in a new earth but the mutants are going to be presented as always being from there. Not from an alternate universe

it really depends on which earth they decide to focus for the xmen films and that can give them more room to explore

for example the F4 earth, seems like they live in utopia with a very retro-future design/environment and it might even be set in the 60s and they are being brought to the present (their future)? so they arent opposed to making films outside of the earth 616

so if they want to stick to the og history of the xmen, they can kind go First Class route from a different earth and if its a different earth, then they can just move up the timeline or simply make up new events and history for Magneto and Prof X

Man they are sticking to the MCU earth we’ve spent the most time with and just adding the F4 and mutants and probably a few other surprises

but yeah the XMens probably going to stay in the 616 but also really curious how they go about pulling off the soft reboot
