WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 FINALE out now

Yea.. that's why the girl power scene felt forced/awkward

You had the strongest character being lead by some of the weaker ones (like even okoye for all her skill is just human.. mantis isn't a fighter.. and we've seen shuri's weapons previously)

I think it should have been nebula/gamora taking it anyways and have CM focus on thanos

Let's be cereal. What was Shuri and Mantis going to do?
You mean the chick with the powerful laser blasters and the one who sedated Thanos and almost facilitated his defeat?

Marvel Rolls Dice, Casts No-names for Thor
By Mark Graham

Despite rumors that had everyone from Shia LaBeouf to Josh Hartnett being cast in Kenneth Branagh’s version of Thor, two virtual unknowns will instead be handed the keys to the Marvel franchise. Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, whom you might recall from the opening scene of Star Trek, will play the Norse superhero, and Tom Hiddleston has been cast as his nemesis, Loki. Let’s hope they follow the J.J. Abrams route and put the money they saved in casting straight to special effects. [DHD]
Lmao. Poor Josh Hartnett again.

Didn’t know this but

Tom Hiddleston was actually auditioning originally for Thor

Imagine it was the other way around and Loki was Thor, and Chris was Loki lol

Hiddleston was on Marvel's shortlist to play the Odinson along with Alexander Skarsgard (whose father Stellan was cast in the film), Charlie Hunnam, Liam Hemsworth and Joel Kinnaman.

Yeah. Alternate reality so who knows what events take place with Cap living life out in the 50s lmao

I think it would have been cheap in AOU.. if end game, I think dude has truly grown

My stance is Cap couldn't pick up Mjolnir in AoU because of the secret with Tony's parents. Once he made amends with Tony, he was good to pick it up.

I liked this thought too instead of the

“He didn’t realize he could really pick it up inAoU but once it budged he pretended to spare thor’s Ego” lol

Think he truly had to change, he had to sit there and empathize with people.. listen to them, go through that situation where he couldn't resort to fighting

That's why I think that scene vs himself was pivotal.. he tried to tell hos past self the truth, but past cap wouldn't listen and first instinct was to fight

Also why the elevator scene is pivotal, past cap in same situation is in a fight

What if he looked at thor’s sloppy melted ice cream self and was like if that alcoholic slob can pick up the hammer, he could too?

Future Thor was never unworthy, he clearly was blaming himself for things that were bigger than him (not being able to save everyone and defeat thanos.. plus the burden of everything that had happened in raganarok plus his mother's death before that).. but he never actually did anything wrong

The box office has a new king and his name is John Wick.

Box office smash: Keanu Reeves stars in John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum - which has knocked Avengers: Endgame off the top spot

Avengers: Endgame slid to second place in its fourth weekend with $29.4 million. Domestically, it's now second only to Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Pokémon Detective Pikachu placed third with $24.8 million and A Dog's Journey opened in fourth with an underwhelming $8 million.

It's pacing significantly below 2017's A Dog's Purpose, the original film in the saga about a canine's adventure to find meaning. That movie debuted with $18 million and went on to earn $64 million at the domestic box office. It became a big hit with international audiences, grossing $140 million overseas.

The young adult adaptation The Sun Is Also a Star fizzled in its debut, grossing only $2.6 million and landing in eighth place.

The romance drama, based on Nicola Yoon's novel, received mixed reviews. It earned a lackluster B- CinemaScore, as well as a 51% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Grown-ish actress Yara Shahidi stars as a brainy student who forms a relationship with a charming exchange student (Riverdale's Charles Melton), as her family faces deportation.

Ticket sales are have fallen around 10% behind last year, according to Comscore. Hollywood is banking on some big blockbusters, as well as a few surprise hits, to boost revenues during the busy summer movie season.
